Dirt mag has a review now "Their Wicked enduro bike was always a good bike too but the 27.5” version didn’t quite hit the heights of the 26” bike and suffered from being slightly too high on the bottom bracket and a bit too short on the wheelbase." Just sayin, according to the YT homepage both the 26 as well as the 27,5 versions have/had a 355mm bottom bracket height, so I feel like questioning this verdict of yours.. Yes, the 650B is significantly shorter, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially for long legs/short torso guys like me... regular Wicked would be like a CC-Race bike positionwise for me. Last but not least, even as a YT owner, I feel as if recently your YT-reviews read like sponsored PR/marketing. No me gusta.

  4. huh... sorry Trackjack but im failing to see the problem... get another rim that will fit the spokes you have and just tadaaa.... Giant is on the whole 650b vibe so its understandable from my point of view, try waiting over 2 months for a replacement scott frame.... now thats .... not so big on service.

  9. haahaa sorry to 'haahaa' but mine took just over 2 months to be replaced !! and that's why I don't ride a Scott anymore....... on the bright side , a friend of mine was bitching because his Giant took 3 days to replace.... sheesh... some people!

  13. Eddy Gordo , every timing system has its good and bad points, strava is free and it doesn't require you to rent a TAG or anything, I would call this more of a 'introduction' to enduro, its super flowy trails that can be ridden on a fully rigid bike,

  16. here are the R80 jobbies but I cant find it on their website anymore.... one of my clients uses all these kinds of gloves for his MX Enduro riding and is way happy, but he goes through quite a few pairs a year!   19. i ahve the mx80 s !! they are heavier than the more expensive flats out there but are perfectly good ! I paid R590 I think on buycycle.co.za about 6 months ago, the pins do shred shoes a bit as they are a bit finer than what ive seen from other flats and them having thread on cuts into the rubber, shoes are the other half to the full picture though....... I have the shimano AM41's which are AWESOME if you have a grand or more to spend on just flats then follow Capricorn or otherwise you will be just fine on the mx80's , oh and they are fricken bullet proof! don't worry about using the spacers that come with the pins...
  20. The only thing I find bizarre are their dropper posts. 100mm travel on external. And they've just got the internal post but in 80mm travel!! I told the guy from giant it's just aswell they didn't make one! All he said was "ouch". But seriously...... Huh.
