go for an Enduro!! it is apparently worth it! I ride a gt force carbon, and after a month I can say Im finally getting used to it and I really really love my bike. personally I would say force or enduro (150mm travel) , if you can get an enduro GOGOGOGOGOFORIT! NOW MAN!! what are you waiting for!! but if you cant , I have heard of guys doing insane things with stumpjumpers, but I would go for a new one so once you break it you could hopefully get it replaced.... ( my scott spark lasted 6 months = I was still figuring out what kind of riding I was into) got it replaced and the SOLD it. the trance x is supposed to be pretty good too, a few guys riding the Enduros with that! , and 2014 is 650b on most giant bikes, only BIG problem is all new stock landing now is about 30% more expensive due to obvious reasons which kicked our ass against the $ . so maybe 2nd hand? if you were looking 25K new you will now pay 32K plus. if you come across a yeti sb-66 , give it serious consideration. just my 5c

And they're racing it twice and a practice run too!! 45 min on one stage. I would be dead after 25 min solid!

DROPPER POST 4. better brake control into corners I kind of feel like there should be an intermediate to advanced skills clinic sometime in the year!

your largest market will come in the 650b 140mm range, its brilliant trail/enduro and can also be use for XC, don't believe the 160 hype it is still a small segment of the market and you don't want to sit with stock. look at the SA history, only bikes coming in as readily available stock are.... Giant trance, scott genius, specialized stumpjumper, trek remedy please not the giant Reign doesn't count as it is a special order item. , unfortunately it pays to cater to a wider market audience, and I know im not going to be popular with saying 140mm but it makes more business sense , even though I ride a 150mm, the market is too 'niche' especially in xc land

Oh hectic! I was thinking about the sanction..... But the force was brought in quite well. ???? As there are quite a few of them around. (Mine included) A lot of the bike shop guys say that there just isn't enough interest as all the saffas are brainwashed by 50k XC bikes. I hope with enduro gaining popularity we will see the lbs stocking more 140mm plussers!! What are the local options in 140+? (Lbs only) Stumpjumper Scott genius Gt force Reign Anything else?

They've always done the force so I can't see why they won't now. Not like specialized which only brings in the enduro on special order (what I've heard). And Merida and a whole class of others who don't sent anything over 120mm to our shores They better!! We need to start converting more race snakes to see the light! Johova style. well if youre one of those well endowed guys that are planning a trip to some of the swiss bike parks it would be worthwhile to pick one of those up!

the sole rigidity is very good, the rubber is also not too hard so it has a decent bit of give to help the pins sink in a bit, im pretty sure fivetens are amazing but its also a bit of a ripoff , i can go through 6 pairs of kustoms to make up for a pair of fivetens so far 20 rides in and not a issue, if you starting out with flats then definately start with kramers ... but if youve had fivetens its probably safe to youll feel something missing by downgrading.. (5c's added to the jar)
