What colonel says is very true. Good team players are rare.. I've been lucky...I've had offers to ride in team for the past four years, and another offer for next year It's the best feeling winning the yellow though and then having a good old pissup at the end of the season

geez I leave the SV's alone for one season and they chill out Granted, last Spring season we had a very tough Manic Cycles team (Geddan Ruddock), the whole Cozmotec team, Pinnacle Point, BikeMax etc there. Most of these teams now ride Elite, so it's fair to say that if a break goes with the favourites, the "bunch sitters" won't get a chase going. Fear not, in Summer season fatty will be back in a new team and fresh for racing. Be prepared to see attacks go from the nuetral zone until the finish line...KY optional

Yeah the positive part of it is that I can start building up earlier for summer season while already having taken a break and be ready for those huilly races. Another positive spin-off is that you don't feel like eating when you're ill, so weight loss comes naturally. Watch summer, going to be interesting

AuctionLamb, I wasn't being mean. I was also in that situation last year this time, frustrated at the lack of racing, frustrated at how many people are content to sit at 20km/h in a league race instead of possibly making the racing. Tried a few attacks, and found there are always one or two dumb enough to go along, and eventually the old "there goes fatty again" moves became legendary (also being caught right before the finish line became just as legendary) I paid the fees to race, and race hard. Not to sit in a bunch and watch others work on the front. If thats what I wanted I would have stayed in the normal bunches. Unfortunately mother nature decided to spare Marius the agony of repeated fatty attacks this year and infected my lungs with pnuemonia, but I'll be back sooner or later

Now you're opening a hornets nest. Everyone has a different opinion. I own a older model Litespeed Ultimate...love it. Also own a Van Tuyl alu with carbon stays...love it. Two very different rides. Prefer the Litespeed, but due to it's age it's a bit heavy...but it's bomb proof! If I had the cash, I'd buy ti over carbon, but thats just me
