  1. My Santa-Cruz Blur is the same colour...nothing wrong with it! If it was red, people would think it was a Cervelo
  2. Don't you guys have a place on TCS for a CT based rider? Now I wonder who that bike is going to..
  3. I'm just not ever going to pinch her butt again! Now don't tell me there's not ugly carbon, steel and alu bikes out there either!
  4. I'm gone TWO days and you lot hijack yet another thread...
  5. Yes, no more bad-mouthing titanium!
  6. Jokerman: "Y b NORMAL"? Lemme guess...you have a Cervelo or a Trek eh? Those bikes are not normal...they are works of art!
  7. Grapkas: most people say 'no pain, no gain', but I believe in 'no pain, no pain!'
  8. Seven Axiom Race Serotta Legend Unfortunately as far as I know (speaking under correction of course), just one of these custom frames will set you back close to what Cruxie's whole 'dale set him back. It really is something you chose because you love the material and workmanship...
  9. smallrebel: Europe is carbon crazy...'merican's are titanium crazy...hence why you won't easily find Seven's, Serotta's, Merlin's etc in Europe. Well...thats my OWN OPINION (for the trolls) Personally...I'd give a kidney for a custom made Seven or Serotta...sweet sweet 6/4 Ti...how do I love thee...let me count the ways...
  10. Breakfasts...bacon, egg, sausage, toast, chips, coffee...no wonder I'm fatcyclist!
  11. Jedi: Look for the Spinergy Xaero-Lite. Advanced PBO fiber spokes - 18 front/24 rear Force 12 hub, utilizes 12 driving spokes for maximum torsional stiffness Custom US made alloy freehub system with vacuum seal. CNC machined hubs, with sealed cartridge bearings for minimal rolling resistance. Semi-aero, 24mm alloy rim Shimano 8/9/10 or Campy 9/10 compatible Skewers and truing tools included Colors: White graphics with black or white spokes Sizes: 700c/650c clincher only Weight: 1540g/pair (700c) 1450g /pair (650c) UCI Approved I've had a pair now for two years, and have had to true the rear once. Aftersales service by Icycling (the agent and hubber) is good, the pricing isn't that expensive (I think around R4k), and they're bombproof. Ask anyone that knows me, I'm HARD on equipment and these have taken the punishment!
  12. Nope, I got that profile from BikeMax. Don't have any others I'm afraid..
  13. I'd officially give one of my kidneys for this!
  14. That Bianchi has me drooling over my keyboard...
  15. Maybe he wants to ride with the Cycles Direct guys next year? BikeMax is in for some heavy contract negotiations
  16. It's not how you stand by your bike, it's how you ride it... fatcyclist2006-10-26 09:38:57
  17. I'll just ask SARA nicely if she wants to ride with me
  18. WW: Marius still has to challenge you and your 'vryfie' on a tandem as well. She will probably have to steer, she looks stronger than him (upper body)
  19. Eish but you're throwing a lot of money at the problem! I bought some Keo's from CWC a few weeks back and am very happy with them so far!
  20. WW: I was riding with Will from UCT one day and some dude hooted at us, so I gave him the 'universal greeting'...he pulls off, gets out the car and waits for me to approach...sees my size and gets back in his car and speeds off! "Klein van ver, maar ver van klein!"
  21. I don't have a problem with cyclists
