Well done t3ddy and thanks for the photo. I was not aware that the downtube was accessible through the head tube. Also, your photo confirms the cables (for derailleurs) are inside housing throughout, correct? I mean to say, they are not running open (coz then they will be stretched and not dangling around anyway).

Not sure how you going to get the tube or foam into the frame through the small hole... maybe you mean from the bottom not the top?

Got this too. If I pull on the cable housing where it enters the frame then it disappears so its the slack cable hanging in the frame that is rattling. I pulled the cable tight and tied a cable tie right where it enters the frame. this gives me about 1 minute of silence. Sadly. Not keen on removing it and adding any kind of padding - the hole is too small anyway. Fairly frustrating. It a Trigon hardtail.

Just had a look and this race is not ons CSA calendar. Is this race sanctioned? If not sanctioned then means I and other licensed riders can not competw right?

"Tubeless ready" means you need to put rim tape and need to put up with 'seeping' through the tyre walls, correct? I this worth it given the cost saving for someone who has to save?

Naah, its only 15 minutes long, you will be fine The Wilro race was the day after our 1st Crit which I think was one of the reasons for the great turnout from the teams.

Big Gauteng North Cycling thank you to all the riders and spectators who attended our 1st criterium introductory race on Saturday. Special thanks to Key360 Performance Nutrition for energy drinks and outstanding sponsored prizes. It was a huge success based on the quality of riding and comments received despite the (spring) weather. Congratulations to all the winners and achievers. We were privileged to have 6 elite ladies in a showdown. Most impressive race of the day must have been the junior/elite category boasting 21 of the best male riders in our country. Sure we will be able to fit you in. Note though that the categories and start times might/will change depending on the number of entries. Combining some categories will move the start times of the latter groups forward. Better maybe to 'pre-enter' and ask to be notified of your start time
