Hi guys looking for some advice here. I was with Switch (Santam) on-demand insurance. So could insure my bikes as i was using it or only when travelling. They seem to have closed down or sucked up into Santam. My current short term insurance (underwritten by King Price) will cover my bikes as specified items but not for accidental damage - only for loss. Who would you recommend please?

Yip also did the aliexpress screen no problem. Google will tell you how to remove the broken one just be patient not to damage the case. To glue the screen go to a cellphone shop they will do it easypeaze for them its just another screen.

Fully agree. Those were the days when events were still organised by clubs and was very affordable. Then the race organiser came along and took over events. riders and clubs did benefit from well organised events but clubs suffered and this probably also led to the demise of the club membership.

CSA membership is all you need.

I have been with Naked for more than 3 years and have had no issues with the 2 claims I submitted. There has been some delay due to them using a 3rd party assessor which was based in CT while I am in Gauteng but at most it was a week.

I would be very cautious claiming for stuff that was not in my policy. It can easily be interpreted as a fraudulent claim and the consequences can be damning. Why did you not just claim for the original bike and damage to the original bike/frame - the carbon wheels were not insured - that was a risk you took - surely you can not hold the insurer liable for this?
