  1. If I was anywhere near that thing there'd be a hundred pics up here.
  2. Carbon 29er.
  3. http://reviews.mtbr.com/review-tate-labs-bar-fly-2-0 Barfly 2 will take a Bryton 40.
  4. I'm 84kgs OK, so look below. The picture of the bunny & the turtle is for the rebound dial, which is maroon. The blue lever corresponds to the blue graphic below, so look at that. (illustration attached) Pointing up towards your nuts is locked out, down to the left is open and down to the right is the climb/pedal setting.
  5. Choose the open setting on the monarch (blue lever) Set sag at 30% (by pumping air into the valve) Then set rebound. This will be your choice, but for me it's 3 clicks back from the rabbit. Just ride it until you find that floaty spot where the shock is sucking it up, but not pogo'ing you upwards.
  6. Read above. Back tyre - I think they're awesome. Pretty fat for a 2.25.
  7. If you have to buy a fork then rather buy a Pike. The bike deserves it.
  8. Yes, rear tyre. I'm on my second one - about 3 years on. No sidewall cuts. They last longer than a Racing Ralph. I wouldn't hesitate to get an Ibex.
  9. I've been using the Canis for years. Very easy tubeless setup. Very nice rubber and a great tyre.
  10. Hehe, same thing happened to me. The Missus went out and blew the kids education on a 650/120 frame. We're going to have doff kids, but our marriage is doing great. Nice one.
  11. Any updates?
  12. WMB Trail bike of the year.
  13. Holy guacamole. http://www.enduroforkseals.com/id276.html
  14. Hey, is this what you're talking about? http://www.enduroforkseals.com/id374.html Maybe I should get one or two when I go to the US in July.
  15. Hey, give me a call when you're down. In fact sms me because I often don't answer the phone. Lets go ride.
  16. FLIP That is nice. I'm really really interested in what you think of the Sweep. I'm wanting to get one to replace my Revelation.
  17. http://www.epicbleedsolutions.com/blog/how-to-bleed-new-shimano-brakes/
  18. So it drives the air down into and out the calliper?
  19. How wide is a Mountain King 2.4? Is it really tractor? I have a Nobby Nic 2.35 which is pretty fat. Crest rim.
  20. I got so excited when I rode one that I bought 2.
  21. Interested to know what you think. I reckon he just looked at the numbers and made his mind up on preconception.
  22. Ya, this review seems spot on. Did you guys read that review done by MBR mag? The guy missed the whole point.
  23. Ah. Welcome to my world. If they're alloy or ali bolts then just drill them out. They're quite soft. If they're stainless, like the shimano ones then it's a lot harder and you'll probably need help. But if you can drill them out you'll need to buy a new set from a bike shop. Many bike shops don't have these, so phone around. KCNC are the easiest to get usually. Then, before you buy them, make sure they're the right length. If you have a triple crank then they need to be long enough. If you have a double, they need to be short enough to bite without any wiggle. If you, like me, keep putting single rings on and off, they'll need to be very short. When you put new ones in, use locktite or something like that, because they strip really easily, and because they're such an extreme point of force on a bike they loosen really easily too.
  24. Apparently not.
  25. You oaks have been perving over the wrong bikes.
