I heard this morning from a friend that one of the cyclists doing the Audax 200 yesterday was hit by a truck and tragically passed away..dont have any other details..RIP Prayers to family and all who knew him:(

Not good mate..As long as you are OK I ride through Parkhurst 3 times a week and all those circles and side roads are dodgy

Hey J MAC Two punctures in two days we saw that "kit" you were wearing

Both my boys 7&9 are on Silverbacks ,we ride most Sunday afternoons at Delta Park and on the section of spruit between Fratelli and Rustenburg rd.Gears are a must have makes it so much easier for them to deal with grass sections and hills.

We expose ourselves to risk whenever we enter a race road/Mtb..some dangers in the form of potholes (BelaBela) and in all races our fellow cyclists. At least yesterday we did not have to dodge busses,cars etc coming in the opposite direction in the final few kms as so often is the case in the "partial" road closure events.Another bonus no shorter distance riders joining the route either. So I would say 94.7 is a lot safer than any of the other road races we do.

Will feel a lot better after the ins assessor approves the repairs to my bike The other "damages" are healing!

I recieved a blank mail yesterday and the race office told me they had issues with the mails and it would come through later.. if not phone today again

I have always had great service from Evans.Their shipping is not based on a minimum value it seems weight or size dependant.I ordered a pair of Jawbones from them free shipping and the value was 1588.00.Definately worth checking before ordering from CRC.

Why do you have to associate CL and money? I ride with CL and believe me not all members have money!! Having money or not isnt an excuse for poor manners! .Furthermore not all members are guilty but are painted with your enormous brush!.This time of the year all the 94.7/Argus riders come out of the woodwork and spoil it for others,and yes it is like the TDF on the weekends.Some people are just unable to comprehend single file /two abreast.

This might cause problems for some: I just recieved an email from Blairgowrie Residents Against Crime.The pedestrian gates at all entrances to Delta Park will be locked at 20h00 and re opened at 05h00 by ADT in an attempt to cut crime in the area.This is effective 16 August 2010.

I had a fantastic day found the organization 100% no complaints from my side.I now know why everyone rates this race so highly.Will definately be back next year..cant wait!
