  1. Started in VC . Pace was furious , lost the bunch before the race track. Had a few guys for the rest of the route , managed a 2h42 , was a tough day out. Well done to all

I am a roadie with OCD , I wash my bike every week , clean and lube drive terrain every week , keeps the bike in good running order I cant handle a dirty bike , thats why I wont do Mtb I really respect you guys. I have washed my bike 3 times after the last 3 rides due to riding in heavy fog and some rain , cant handle that black brake gunk that gets every where Keep it clean guys Safe cycling

I am fortunate to have found a friend who is a machanic in his spare time (he qualifid as one)He now fixes my whole familys cars and is honest , believe it or not , cost is a fraction of "bloody agents" These Agents rip you off whole sale , he (the mackie) has told me plenty stories of guys been quoted outragous amounts for simple jobs , especially women In the defence of the agents they have to pay HUGE rent for their fancy showrooms and premisis , but still no reason to rip off the public , SHAME ON YOU

Just want to give a BIG to Linden cycles I went there to sort out my d'arcs glasses as I broke one arm , was helped by the owner who replaced both arms and when I offered to pay he said " have a nice day" , What a guy , there wher also plenty on young gys eager to help me while I was browsing the shop. Well done Linden
  6. I rate Dunkeld cycles , machie mike is awesome , he rebuilt my bike , replaced head set bearings , really on the ball only had awesome service from Mark ,Merlyn and Jaques all of which are cyclists and have a wealth of knowledge.

About 3 years ago I went to Cajees in fourways to by a moon shine light (topeak) , was quoted over the phone R1500.00 , went to buy it was marked at R3200.00 I told the guy I was quoted R1500.00 and thats what I paid , like it has been said , scary if you dont know your pricng , the unsuspecting consumer will be taken for a ride so to speak , he will pay for our bargaining

I recently replaced my shimano ulgera with SRAM force and boy am I impressed with SRAM The ear changes are quicker and smoother , the brakes are brilliant and rerally bite This is just my experience , fell free to add yours. I have not had the pleasure of riding Camy yet I hear It is also Brilliant

  11. Hi Hubbers How much should I ask for my 3 year old shimano ultegra sl group set. Consists of : Compact crank and BB 10 speed shifters 10 speed rear and front durailer slr brakes (not ultegra) 10 speed chain and 11-25 cassette (well used) There are scuff marks on the above , all in good working order.   13. Thats why I dont do Argus annymore :0 Cant justify spending R7500.00 on a 3 hour bike ride And the chaos and admin that you have over the weekend , not worth it any more , my 2c waaaay overated

My good friend just ordered SRAM red for his bike , and is giving me his SRAM force which is virtually new 2000km if that , so I take my bike to lbs to do the swop over and he has the new trek madone frame with the pressed bearings in the BB so the guy pulls out a a brand new SRAM red ceramic BB and says this should fit your bike as the trek has the bearings pressed into the BB. Lucky or what. THANK YOU

  20. Hi Guys I need some advice please I am currently riding a 172.5mm compact crank ,on a 52cm frame. I ordered a new 172.5mm crank but was sent a 175mm crank , will this affect my set up etc ? Sales guy said it will give me more leaverage ? What is your experience and advice? Thanks Gobbo
  21. my 2c worth I am a 32gi convert , I rate the product highly as it does not "spike" me like other products , cyto max is good , also used to use it , not the greatest tasting though 32gi works for me

Well done Frosty Probably one of the best events all round , as mentioned by others , great parking , awesome road markings , well organized Big Up , Hope fully some others can take a few feathers out your cap. I have on little complaint , the first aid tent was far away , took me a while to find after my fall. All in all WELL DONE !!!

Hi Indy, I was one of the guys who came down some chop on my right on a blue Bianchi decided to cut left , hit the guy just infront of me on my left , caught a wobble and went down , I had no where to go , really angry as I pulled the bunch a fair amount of the way :)No major injuries or damage , just a lekka roastie and a few cosmetic scratches
