  1. The locust plague reaches us from India/Pakistan.
  2. Nah, I'm talking about when they are riding in the opposite direction and do this. I have no worries with anyone overtaking me.
  3. Dunno. I ride all by myself and stay out of everyone's way and they still act like this.
  4. Yup. Them and the &*^%ing wankers that ride three and four abreast taking up the entire road and forcing me onto the pavement. (it's even worse when the bastards are on MTB's and I'm on a road bike. &^%$y, *&^%ing entitled $#%^s.)
  5. Link to this document containing table 2? The 36 page doc from 29 April only has Table 1. No mention is made in that document of a table 2. https://www.gov.za/sites/default/files/gcis_document/202004/43258rg11098gon480s.pdf Unless you mean another doc, in which case, link please.
  6. Hi, I ordered for collection, but the email I received only mentions when it will be delivered. I tried emailing and no reply. When can I collect?
  7. I guess it's the pies.
  8. I was gonna ask who got you all in a tiz when I saw your tweet this morning. I did Bing this for you though: So, I dunno.
  9. Well, I haven't followed the 5km rule since the start of this and I'm not about to start now.
  10. https://community.bikehub.co.za/topic/185156-coronavirus-lockdown-and-exercising-outdoors/page-187?do=findComment&comment=3665779
  11. Everything is open now. There a few specific exclusions. What business sector is he in?
  12. In the Covid context, Karen is the bint spying on her neighbours and calling the cops on the slightest transgression of the imbecilic crackdown regulations. Just like this Karen reporter just did.
  13. Lots of us. My regular training group is on the road at 4:30 everyday.
  14. Yeah, I'm an arse, but not that much of one.
  15. 100% I am 62kg's
  16. So, I returned to racing about 18 months ago after many moons of just riding and training for enjoyment. I am racing on a new weapon which comes in at 6.5kg's and out of the handful of races I did, I have a handful of podiums, so I will agree with that. But, my training methods have changed, my race preparation and selection has changed to suit my talents more, and my body weight has increased (by conscious decision - and said training changes) by about 2.5 kg's from my prior racing days. So which is the winner? The bike or the training? (Also, I'm talking road here, but weight is weight, right?)
  17. https://www.lookcycle.com/download//products-pedals-2020/downloads/pedals-product-page-documents-download-manual-x-track-fr-en-es-de-it.pdf You can probably trust the manufacturer.
  18. Some of us even still shove newspaper down the front of our jerseys. When it gets sweaty or you warm up, it's easy to dispose of at a garage dustbin and you can continue your ride.
  19. I have Lithion 3's (Michelin) on my training bike. Dirt cheap, and actually I'm super impressed with the overall feel and no puntures. On my race bike I've got Vredestein Fortezza. They're just about the best tyre I've used. On your point, I've used Continental for many years. I find them like the VW or Toyota of the tyre world. They could make a rolling turd and slap their name on it and would sell for whatever price they wanted. Michelin, Vredestein, Vittoria are much better tyres in my opinion. (And if you shop around, much, much better value for money)
  20. Far too much innuendo, too guesswork required. Can't you simply name the places so we could support them (or not) depending on the comments?
  21. Or wear it around your neck and pull it up only when near other people...
  22. I reckon everyone is different. I've been riding with one for years in cold weather and never experienced the effect you speak of. The last few weeks in warm weather was no different.
  23. The one with strap looks good. Those things that go over the ears would irritate the heck out of me after half an hour.
