I am well aware. My first proper bike was a 70's Italian Zini. A hand me down from my dad. It started my love for Campag as well, it had nuovo record. And tubbies. Not entirely correct. The original Zini is an Italian brand, made in Italy. Gotti made them under license or something. I believe Paolo Zini was the original frame builder.

It might be a bit far for you, but Finishline in Kempton rebuilt one of my Fulcrums and it's one of the best wheel builds I've seen in ages. (one of the nipples kept unwinding, so they rebuilt the wheel with a dab of gorilla snot on each spoke thread - that was about 20 000km ago and all good still)
