  1. Postponed again. No new time/date as yet.
  2. Slow down there buddy. It's not the 1st of June yet, and neither has Mrs Zuma had her say which might bring a halt to your plans as well. But, if she agrees with the Pres, then no time and no distance limitations will apply from 1 June.
  3. Can some of you posting here give an indication of what you are covering? The R-premium amounts mean little for us to compare on. I mean I know the value of what I have insured and my premium, I'm interested to see a similar value insured for a bike and see if it's even worthwhile shopping around.
  4. You can be a die hard roadie like me and know that R36k for a ten year old aluminium 26er is laughable. Even if the description includes the phrase "buttery smooth".
  5. Yeah, I looked at the weather on the weekend. Rode road Monday, indoor trainer till Friday thanks.
  6. Probably because it's not considered a "proper" mtb park or whatever - though the place is always packed with mtbers - but Riverfields in Kempton has been open since the first of May.
  7. I think you answered yourself there. I don't want to address the advertising aspect, but I'm sure as a legal entity, this guy's business is on the right side of the law? At least until proven otherwise?
  8. Why?
  9. Guys have been beating that drum here since the beginning of the forum. It's more tiring reading here that you can't push yourself and use strava whilst having fun, than it is to actually get a KOM on said app.
  10. Those people aren't traditional strava users and certainly not in the target market of what's being included in the paid version.
  11. I would disown this guy.
  12. What makes it a "sport" mask?
  13. I think it's the wrong time to roll it out though. Due to the coronachan, people are invariably riding less, and comparing their stats less, so the switch to the paid content isn't necessary for most. Coupled to the fact that economically the entire world is under pressure, the price seems steep, especially in non-Dollar based economies. I guess we'll see, but I've already moved back to MapMyRide (where I've been since 2011).
  14. All those press conference by the NCCC. So much peacocking and dick swinging. I was so happy Squirrel didn't mention that they would unveil the new regulations during the week, giving each arsehat in a hat the opportunity to try and outdo each other. I'm hoping it calms down a bit now.
  15. Which is pretty much exactly what Squirrel said last night. This thing is entirely in our hands now.
  16. It's quite sad though, that in the context of exercising, and particularly riding, if they would just open the entire day for us, more than 75% of this issue would just evaporate anyway.
  17. What is "The Spruit"?
  18. Regardless of what everyone else is doing, wear one for your safety. Either there is a possibility of you getting infected and all the consequences that can possibly have for you and your loved ones - wearing a mask might impact the likelihood of getting infected; or, as its advised by the National Communist Control Committee that you wear one, you get pulled over by a copper with Adolf Cele's iron fist up his arse and you get donnered - wearing a mask my impact the likelihood of that happening.
  19. Makes much more sense than leaving it to chance.
  20. Game Raleigh then.
  21. Yeah, that section from Mentis Sales to Gateway hotel is always dodgy. The only other route would be straight at top of old makro past KSB Pumps and then right on Barbara and left onto Kraft.
  22. From where to where? I don't mean like a stalker I mean like I've been riding the roads around here for 30 years, maybe I can offer a route?
  23. Aren't you worried your laces get caught in your chain?
