  1. Then you READ, before you write and make an ass outa yourself. You're the author of your own misfortune. All the details are there, if you take the time to find them.
  2. No you're trying to backpeddle and justify your trolling. If you'd taken the trouble to read the thread you would already know the answers to your stooopid questions and ASS-umptions. 1. IF? Nothing of the sort was shared with anybody, look at the invoice 2. Read the chinese carbon thread, everyone there readily admits to buying fakes. Selling a fake openly as a fake is perfectly ok, but passing it off as an original is fraudulent and corrupt.
  3. Catch a wake-up Willdo, The OP had a longstanding relationship with Cycle Science The OP had no reason to distrust them, based on previous purchases The OP purchased a second Pina frame after he was informed the first was a counterfeit (ergo he paid 170k for a 160k bike).
  4. The warranty doesn't cover towing a 47kg trailer affixed to the seatpost, even for "charity" Are you slow? This is the hub, not Stalingrad Education, now you know your frame warranty is useless
  5. I'm guessing your frame is out of warranty, or you don't have the dosh to pony up for a replacement. Fake everything? Have you bothered to read the thread? The Groupo was legit, all 40k of it. If you've never been taken by a scammer, good for you. If you do get diddled in future though, don't expect any sympathy by posting it here. This thread is about education as much as it about fraud and deception. Your attitude stinks.
  6. Why contribute today, if it's "so yesterday"? There are many other threads and topics available, stick to those if you don't like this one. Better yet, start your own.
  7. No need to be tentative re CS, they're criminals, criminals, CRIMINALS
  8. A scam on OLX and Junkmail.... no waaaays . Ask him for the frame serial number, easy enough to verify whether it's stolen or he's just hardup for cash. Nice doggie you have there!
  9. No worries Macca. Re your last point: From a commercial perspective, ASG have a duty to assist the OP though, imho. He made the original CS purchase in good faith (as most of us do), and then purchased a further Pina frame when he was informed he had been duped. The distributors of Swiss DT wheels have an equal duty. The OP has heightened awareness of these brands significantly, and shown loyalty throughout. It's in both their interests to ensure this unpleasantness is resolved without delay, to restore the integrity of their respective markets.
  10. Another Johnny-come-lately Noob. This has been debated ad-nauseum before you happened along. Heard of discount, and specials, and varying component prices, and emotional purchases? Read the thread, all 130 pages. What's your connection to Cycle Science?
  11. Macca, you've set the cat amongst the pigeons unnecessarily. Andrew: “They said that I knew all along that it was a grey import.” Devi : “ Is that true? Did you know that it was a grey import?” Andrew: “No, I didn’t know. If it was a grey import, I would have kept it – because as long as it was a genuine Pinarello, or genuine Swiss DT wheels. But the fact is that there was nothing genuine about it. It was all fake.” Naughty Macca
  12. Lost in translation, and volume. The letters AA refers to was correspondence after the fact. He purchased a thoroughbred Pina (and paid accordingly), he sent them an "indignant" text from down under advising them he had discovered the bike was FAKE, CS replied that "he knew the bike was a grey import" (although their invoice doesn't support this pertinent fact). CS lies and spin, nothing more.
  13. I'm guessing it's too late to email already.
  14. Conversation in the shower: "My stem fits perfectly onto your headset, right down to the bottom spacer"
  15. Yeah, if only... instead they thought they could talk themselves out of a tight corner on national TV, outsmart a determined and savvy customer and, somehow, justify their criminality. STUPID IS AS STUPID DOES!
  16. http://www.cyclefactory.co.za/index.php/bikes/29-mtb/sb-sola4-2014-detail GT is "sexier" than Silverback, BUT (and that's a BEEEEEG Butt) (see my play on words there, haha)..... You also need to consider after sales service and manufacturer warranties. Silverback will offer the original purchaser a LIFETIME warranty on an alu frame. http://www.silverbacklab.com/upload/2011_website_SILVERBACK/pdfs/WARRANTY_2011.pdf GT not so much.
  17. This cracks me up. I can't stop looking at it, and I can't stop laughing
  18. "Joe Public isn't a cyclist". Cycling noobs will be warned off CS, nobody wants to spend their hard earned cash with a bunch of crooks. Other bike stores will warn their clients to warn their friends not to buy anything at CS. The cycling industry is small. It may take longer than a week to filter through, but eventually the penny will fall, HARD.
  19. Carte Blanche was good, but I was disappointed not to see them being lead away in handcuffs at the end of the clip. They deserve 2 square meals a day and accommodation at taxpayer expense.
  20. Gotta love the CS "sympathisers", high on entertainment value but low on common sense.
  21. LOL... not "every" noob, only those who defend the indefensible in the face of overwhelming evidence. There is no cure for stooopid.
  22. Fraudulent Cycle Science Crawl back into the troll hole you emerged from.
