I stay in Secunda or Potch most of the time,, doesnt matter I have to take a whole day and drive there just to get the number... would be nice to pick it up before the race..

did you enjoy the race? did you feel the adrenaline pump in the final 10s before the start? can you still hear the sound of all the wheels whining on the road? how did you feel when you crossed the finish line? why did you enter? for a roll of super-c's ? sure I was also dissapointed when I saw my copy "The Star" and the entry is pretty steep, but I had a great time yesterday! so I'm not gonna join the complaining..

I see what you mean mampara... when you register for the club you have to pay an additional x amount for your license. I think what they meant is that they get the license for you, you dont have to worry about it yourself?!

yeah, I heard about this... what happens when you're in the big blade and smal cog, cruising downhill and just when the road turns skywards again, you realise that you forgot to charge/replace the batteries???? I dont like the idea!

today I asked my sister to get me some wasp gels while she was in town,, I asked to get me the one with the "high caffiene content" when she returns she only got the 'regular' ones and tells the that the lady in the "health shoppie" where she bought TOTALLY freak out on her when she asked for the ones with the "high caffiene content" she went on about how it's illegal and if I use it I will test positive and should not even consider using something with caffiene, blah blah blah sometimes people's stupidity is just amazing !?

so today I ask my dad to buy me some tyres while he is in Jhb,, he phones me before he buys and I tell him what I want before he buys it... so when he comes home, I see the tyres he bought (michellin carbon's) has yellow sidewalls the problem is: 1.) I have a red white and black bike 2.) I live 150km from Jhb (so quickly going to exchange them is not an option.) so: a.) am I too fussy??? b.) is there a way to color the yellow strips and make them black? c.) should I just drive there and change them?

took my edge 305 to avnic this morning, they said I will have a new unit within 5-6 days!!! cant complain about that!

ok, here's the story, please read and give me you honest opinion! I have fulcrum racing 1 wheels, they are just awesome (1550g) but they have a shimano freebody and the bike's got a campy groupo... this combination works,, but not always as well as it should.. now the thing is, I want some tubbies but my (student- ) budget's a bit tight to get a decent pair now I can get racing 5's for a good price (campag body) and equinox tubbies (campag body) should I sell the racing 1's and get these other 2 sets? or should I be patient and save some money for a decent set of tubbies (and also just keep riding the campy/shimano mix?) thanks guys!

why did you start cycling??? you may have many of your own reasons, but one of the main reasons for most people here is cause its FUN!!! just keep it that way, you'll know when you are ready to upgrade on the distance..
