  10. is there a way you can download data from a PT and a garmin edge 305 into the same workout in trainingpeaks?? the PT gives everything except the altitude (elevation gain), and I would like to plot the power against elevation? I've tried to copy both files into the workout but trainingpeaks gives me an error message saying that the data has already been copied? anyone have any ideas/similar experiences??
  11. what makes it so expensive??? the electronic DA's??
  12. just a question... you see carbon bits of groupsets of the same quality from Campag and SRAM... why not shimano? this looks very nice though!!
  13. Dear Father Christmas. I've been a good boy and would like Lightweight to make a set like these with my name on them...
  14. try Cytomax! also a bit expensive these days but it last long and for me it works..
  15. yeah kinda...
  16. can some you IT guys please help me?? where does the Garmin Training Center software store your history of workouts and rides etc. ? I've searched everywhere i could think of????
  17. If you 're willing to spend a bit more get a Garmin Edge 305... you get HR, and that stuff that you already have on the bike computer but, you get a gps with it! and the nice of it for me is that you can program it the way you want, e.g you can tell it how long you want to cycle before your intervals and how long the intervals should be and how long you should rest etc. (I know the top end polars can do this as well!) you say you are starting out with HR training, believe and ask anyone using HR it doesnt help you get the data and do nothing with it. so getting something thats too elementary will do for now, but once you want to start training seriously, you'll want something with the little "added extra's"
  18. you're gonna need backup just tell me when and where...
  19. so you dont slip while walking in them! I had the look cleats without the "grips" and they get quite slippery on tiles and stuff! so yeah Turtlek, I took my cleats with grips and sometimes the grip so much I have to leave my shoes in the pedals cause I cant clip out!
  20. its difficult not to lose my temper now... but its not just them, you get crap service from all "these" shops... a couple of weeks ago I was at Solomons in Pta and looking for keo cleats,, the kid working there tells me about the keo grips,, and says that the "rubber" bits on the bottom of the cleat is for it to grip better in the pedal... needless to say I took my money elsewhere!
  21. just to give you an idea, I sold my marathon 8 frame (the newer model of the rds series and the "higher up" frame...) for R 2800 last year...
  22. so tell us about your race this weekend... who was this fat person side loading and dropping on the first hill??? the worst is when they get off at the first piece of single track / technical bit!! happened quite alot to me in the mtb argus...
