I tried revolution cycles they dont import them anymore. Getting decals done on the rims and im think of respraying the bike But not sure where, have something like the attached in mind? Will I have any legal issues if I spray it like attached I dunno where the frame comes from, but it looked like cervelo S5 before Dave resprayed it to his colours. So I am tweaking that Just not sure about the purple will probs keep it white and I think spraying the front fork might be overkill Anyone know anyone that can do this and have a good reputation?

I commute from randburg to sandton 3 times a week. These would be awesome , especially if they can be seperate from the normal roads. When it happens is another story. But atm there is quite a alot of payment that can be used If they can only be maintained a bit more and legalized for cyclist to use them this would help immediately. But the pedestrians I have encountered in the last 3 months has all been more than happy to make space, bar 1 or 2 individuals.

Hi I am currently looking for a Specialized tarmac sl4 frame. The specialized version usually goes for around 25k and the sworks around 37k But no one has stock, wel atleast here in jhb I found a shop bridge cycles down in capetown which has stock but is selling the specialized for 19k and the sworks for 25k. Does anyone know this shop, are they legit, is this just a big special or to good to be true? I have asked demetri if its the genuine roduct but he has not replied, but in general our email conversations has not been smooth so he might not have gotten the mail

what bike and kit did you wear? i assume you were part of the 8 man group that formed just after hekpoort descent to catch the A group again. I was in the northcliff kit, with the green evad. Just to say underachiever came in at 4th if I remember correctly. So that is at least 3 hubbers in top 10

Any tips on approaching this? What can we do if he refuses to do a refund? Since he doesn't have a business yet, it won't have the same affect when going to the press

Thanks Just needed 3 more hubebrs to join the breakaway and we would have holded it. but 3 was just to little with hat wind. If we had the 8 guys that ran back to al, we also would have lasted. So we didn't meet Liu mum Bai, and he was also in the bunch. You msut come say high next time

this article was inspiring and glad it got sorted In actual fact It was motivated me and my father in law to confront the guy who sold us 2 fake bikes. An tips on how to approach him. He sold my father in law a pinarello, which after watching carte blanche we can confirm is a fake. And after we asked him at least 3 times he confirmed it is a original pinarello. And he sold me a rebranded cervelo s5, also multiple times I asked is it a geniune Cervelo and it was confirmed multiple times. and my lbs confirmed its a fake. Only dif is we didn't pay 90k, we payed just over 35k each. So you might argue we got what we payd for. But he explicitly said its the genuine thing on multiple occasions and in front f multiple witnesses, and he is planning opening his own shop in randburg, so this might happen to more people soon, so if we can stop it now, we can also prevent future people from being scamed.

cant remember the bike but do remember the kit. Its a shame we probably caught them 4 km after that. And they always say once ur dropped its over. Some determined guys changed that today. I must say i am broken now 160 km in the saddle, strava suffer score of almost 300 Early night for me

Awesome ride. Met Gary. Lost a bottle on the strips again sigh. Got dropped on the hekpoort decent but 8 of us regrouped and made it back to the pack. Awesome teamwork. Then as al was doing their Sunday cruise umderchiever and I entertained them a bit with a 10to 15km breakaway. And of course followed by n crazy sprint. Awesome race. And then a tough ride home with the nc boys

I see AL for me. Last year I started in D got dropped at the 50 km bump then me and one guy chased the group down for the rest of the race finished 2:48, only 5 min behind the group. I hope I can beet that this year

I currently commute to work 2-3 times a week from Randburg to Sandton I can't say they I know of any road that has permanent yellow lanes or even pavements. And to make the ending of pavements road bike friendly with a ramp. A road like CR swart is used by 1000's of cyclists each day some for commuting, some for training and almost all of the people traveling to and from diepsloot use this road, it has ample space for yellow lanes Other roads to be considered Malibongwe Republic Hill Street Braam Fischer Conrad Drive William Nicol Sandton drive grayston drive

No I agree its swak Already booked and payed everything why not host it on the sat? Atleast then if you organised to stay over the weekend your plans could have stayed the same or even better why not keep it on sunday and improvise the route? **** happens, but you don't go and change dates that will make it impossible for non locals to enter your event. And what makes it even worse is how they did the date change, atleast when the actionford changed its date they notified everyone who already entered. Can't say the same for these bloakes.
