A little unrelated, sorry. Does anyone know where I can find a calendar for WP champs road events? Specifically if there is going to be a WP TT race this year?

What an amazing day. A really fast paced race on a really well marked beautiful course. The race started fast with a split in the leading group in the first few km's. I was in a group of 8 leading riders and when we got to the wind turbine climb Dominic Calitz, Jarryd Haley and Craig Boyes broke away from us, they would eventually go on to take the first 3 places. The remaining five of us tried chase down the leading 3 but we just couldn't bring the gap down. I dropped off the back of the chase group on the long sandy climb and was caught and passed by Martin Zietsman in the single track. The single track was fantastic, loads of fun! Exiting the single track I was caught by another rider and we rode together to the finish trying to chase and catch Martin who was about a minute in front of us. Those last small climbs towards the finish are always terrible. I eventually finished 10th overall and 3rd in Sub vets in 2h13.

I use a site called myus.com to purchase from sites that will only deliver to the US. It works really well. The site sends the item to an address in America and myus then forwards it on to me. It is very expensive but super quick. There is a UK based one but I am not sure what it is called or how good they are.

I wonder what the velominati's stance is on strava in general?

Mine looks just like that. I have 6000km on it. Still very comfortable.

You could swop the shifters around by putting them upside down on the bars. It would look a bit stupid and break if you crashed but would be the simplest solution.

Sorry if this has been posted already, but this is from their facebook page. Looks like a long false flat and then a big climb in the middle.

I think this was from a few years ago. As far as I know the route has changed since then and this is a new route as well.

weather looks good for Saturday. A few drops of rain on Thursday but Saturday looks nice and warm with very little wind.

I am going up for the 65km with three others. It will be my first time doing this event.
