Everyone always moaning about the race organisers. Why don't U! the Moaner, do a race for 35000 people and see wot happens. Its a fun ride, just ride it and get your medal. Who cares about the official race time if you are starting 3000 places down. Gun gos off u start ur watch, but u only reach the start mat 2 min later... start it then

Ja that was not on. And then one of the top woman in the race, doesnt even get seen between al the riders, they should split the top 3 woman 1km before the end or something like that. Like in marathons!

Who were the the fools on the Tandem that took out the guys in front of Cherise Stander!

Did it last year. You do as many laps as u want, we take a gazebo, cooler, braai etc. if u tired u stop, if you wanna win, u carry on. The top guys go for 15+ laps then stop for the first time. I'm there for fun, I do 4-5 laps, then pull into the gazebo, chill out, then head out again... Dunno wot the course is gonna be like after 2 weeks of rain, still rain predicted till Saturday. Will see

I havent seen a postman in ages. Everything rather to a post box at the post office, or postnet, then u know it gets delivered.... Few years back, they caught a postman around my area, he used to pull into a park, with a dop and chop, and burn all the letters to braai on, he was apperently doing this for more than a year... HAHA

Entered 17 January already, and booked in at Buffelspoort for the Weekend!!! After doing the Isuzu Ride the Rock in Cederberg, this race is gonna be alot easier than last year

After doing the Isuzu Ride the Rock in the Cederberg a few weeks back. I am now not scared of this race anymore. I struggled last year, but had a good race, with only 2-3 weeks training. This year I am gonna blow this course, compared to day 1 in the cederberg, this is now alot easier...

I bought photos 3 times last year, i took all the pics that were taken of me. I think I got 1 pic that was slightly out of focus. at 2 of the races, the guys were setup in real cool spots, with flashes in the trees etc. the lighting was great and i will support them anytime. all three times i paid for the downloadable contrent, It cost me R145 each time. 1 set had 6 pics, 8 pics and 9 pics.

My upper legs, started at about 40km, was a silly uphill there, and did do alot of walking. from about 60 my calves also started..

Hey guys. I don't usually cramp. But at the recent Ride the Rock on day 1, I really struggled, Had a good dinner and breakfast, Drank a lot as well. My problem is eating during a race. I can handle gels, but bars, sandwiches etc, i can't get down. I need to stop and eat and then go, I can't ride and eat. Is there anything I can do before hand, or should I stop and eat and rather lose the 2 min, at the water point, than cramping and limping home at a stupid speed, losing me more time...!!!???
