  1. Suppose not. Still a flippen sexy bike.
  2. Eish, I really dont want to pedal that uphill.
  3. Good choice dude. MAny happy miles in your future.
  4. Could not believe how expensive this bike is. Phoned around for a fuel 9.8. Cheapest i found is 65 000 bucks. Xt groupset, no carbon rims. Lovely bike, but no value for money. Such a pity.
  5. Mooiweer naweek wat vir ons wag. Jonkers vir my die naweek. Kannie wag nie.
  6. Camber is becoming massively popular. The s works version was sold out before it even hit our shores, even the expert sold out quickly. I dont think it wil be long before it outsells the Epic.
  7. Welkom by die Hub, gaan maar so hierso. Klomp drolle op die Hub, maar ook n klomp moerse nice ouens.
  8. Not that stuck record again. Vipa= nice, but too expensive, not proven itself yet, hearing lots of stories about broken frames lately.. Anthem is good, but again, nothing to drool over in the looks department. Pyga, heavy, expensive and no carbon options. I also consider niche brands everytime I buy, Rocky Mountain, Bmc etc etc, but ultimately the lack of bikes to Demo, dealers refusing to negotiate on discount and fear of aftersales keeps me going back to the big S. Also cause Spez make shoes, helmets, clothing, gloves etc etc, I always negotiate a sweet pair of shoes or a helmet with my new bike. Getting a Stumpy expert later this week, 25 percent off retail, and new pair of s works shoes.
  9. I agree, the carbon wheels alone makes it much better for me. Much better bike, you are right sir. Guess you are still loving your camber? I miss mine, but I also love my Epic. Flippen Specialized producing sooo many good bikes, bastards.
  10. Its the bike. Beieve me Mr Mayhem . Still does not stop me from also wanting a stumpy.
  11. Sis man, a Husqvarna, ag no man cmon. I raise you a Yamaha yz, Kawasaki kx, Suzuki Rm and a Honda cr, then a ktm sx, then walking, then pushing a wheelbarrow, then a Husqvarna.
  12. They should produce one that looks exactly the same, with cheaper parts for the South African market. It really is quite beautifull. But the price is not.
  13. Suppose so, apples to pears. My new Stumpy Fsr I am buying has the Pike. I will hopefully then be able to tell you if you were correct. But buying a Camber is def not a bad idea. In fact, its a great idea. If the Epic was not on the market, I would still have my Camber, they are that close. Camber a little big bigger, and longer, Epic a little lighter and smaller. Such small differences its crazy. But I do prefer the brain, thats why I am buying a stumpy fsr as my second bike. Strange that Spez does not equip the camber with brain. Maybe 2015.
  14. Dislike . Sies man, moenie so lieg op n Sondag nie. .
  15. I see you can customize your Trek on the website. Everything from colour to parts to decals. amazing. Anyone done this? Love the look of the fuel 9.9.
  16. I must admit. That does look really good. Would love a test ride.
  17. Epic for sure, had my Camber for 18 months, loved it, then rode a 2014 Epic and realized what I had been missing. Epic is lighter, faster and the brain system is easier than the ctd on the camber. If you liked both the Camber and Epic 29ers, dont bother with 27,5 wheels, you will hate it, like I did. One thing I can add is unfortunately you need to get the more expensive versions of the Epic. The 2 cheapest ones dont have the brain fork in front, only the rear. This makes the bike feel very unbalanced, and twitchy. You need the brain front and rear. Expert, Marathon and S-works versions.
  18. Aai man, I also have a epic. I can relate to his pain. Bastards, hope they get some African Virus that eats their testicles slowly and painfully.
  19. Sorry for your loss. But in 2014 in the Werstern Cape who still leaves a bike in the garage? Hope you find it mate.
  20. Was it wet guys? Woke up this morning pissing with rain in Paarl.
  21. Why you shouting? No fighting here.
  22. Cause it is 2014. And I dont want a boat anchor.
  23. Trek if they offer carbon, Pyga oneten when they decide to start producing carbon bikes.
  24. Loved it, fricken brilliant. Mtb always wins . Balls of carbon . *** funny.
  25. Accomadation is fair if you book in advance. Such a great event, you are going to regret not going.
