Not true, I work at Koeberg. You need either ID book (sign register at gate) or a tempory card (which you fill in a form and supply id photo ). This card is valid for 1 year.

What chip are you refering to? The same chip one use for the ARGUS? I missed the race last year. The races before that we did not reuired a chip.

I want to do the Hakerville (Garden of Eden) sigle track (red route) on Monday after the K2C. Who has done this route? How will the route handle the rain from the previous week (to muddy/wet)?

I will be there after a layoff last year due to back operation. Will do the Cederberg MTB (115km) on 7 September to test the legs.
