  1. On another note, I do think that Dlamini must go for a bone density test. That actually broke to easily for me. I broke my arm and took way much force to break it. In many other sports limbs are subjected to all type of forces but dont break. Even soccer players dont break arms.
  2. Same here. Arms and hands took a pounding, but will do it again
  3. My Lbs went to Google a part online for me in the shop, told me to buy it online cos it's cheaper and they will fit it as part of a service. So I'm sure Lbs have made peace with it and will focus on their workshops. So despite the online purchase, they still made money on replacing cables, bartape, brakes etc. I know some okes can do things myself, but I am unable to put on bartape like the mechanics do.
  4. 2 things is clear. #1 Every trail owner should have a risk management plan that highlights the manner in which to deal with an emergency, trained First Aiders, calling the aunty that is the nurse, having an agreement with the local ambulance, whatever, there should be a plan. Plan must be clearly visible at trail entrance. We can't expect an ambulance to be on standby but the plan should be clear. #2 Every MTB rider should read the plan and take down the necessary contact details at the entrance. and then have the buddy system. In emergencies, response time is critical.
  5. So are they going to have loads of staff to deal with number collection?

  10. Advendurance are normally great with organisation of races, hope this gets sorted
  11. I reckon after 30 days it is finders keepers and could sell
  12. My son got cable disc brakes on his 20 inch Titan Hades, they stop dead, actually impressive
  13. I stop at red lights 90% of the time.the other 10% is when I skip it cos standing still is more dangerous. I do this with bike or car.
  14. To double entries, lol. Not sure what the reasons are but I recently participated in a tough one day event as a team.I must say, it was more enjoyable and would definitely do it again
  15. Plus 1. Running an NPO is difficult, rather partner with existing organisations. The older persons act will probably kick in as well. There are over 201 000 registered NPOs in SA. Many are closing down or scaling down. Btw, registering and training NPO's is my job. If you a Voluntary Association registered as NPO you need annually submit a narrative and AFS drawn up by an Accounting officer. When you look for office bearers make sure they have diverse skills and more importantly the time. Read up alot on pbo/18A, independent code, older persons act,CSI trends for starters. Then if you do decide, then you would have made an informed decisions.Raffles also brings in the Lottery legislation All the best
