Unofficially he has done it for most of his life, coaching his siblings, parents, friends, and anyone who set foot on a bike in his vicinity. His cycling career started when he was 10 years old, competing at the local XCO races. Years later he took up Bike Trials, which lead to Dirt Jumping, Down Hill and Enduro. With 20 years experience in the different cycling disciplines, he has learnt valuable skills and tricks which he happily hands over in his lessons. Growing up the youngest of 6 kids meant Chris learned lots of patience. This is evident in his easy handling of every experience level… anyone is welcome! 8. Had 1 foot out for the slide (it was a dodgy corner) bike was sliding as usual then as everyone who has ridden cascades in the wet can tell you, I lost the front end on some clay, the front wheel then caught the rutt that had formed and thats when I collapsed onto the bars and got chucked over. Is there a bag up for grabs ? My proud moment from that weekend was that I was only 20 seconds behind Mr Minn on race run
  9. A dismount I had earlier this year at Cascades DH. I got kicked off the bike so fast the only thing I remember is rolling into the bushes. thanks to Super-Mill for the footage
  10. Is this true? My neighbor shot 1 that was in a tree on my property on sunday, I think he was trying to have an afternoon nap, This guy and his wife are the biggest douchebags alive, they are rolling in cash and think they can do whatever they want. Then he has the cheek to tell me he doesn't own a gun. How can I nail him for it???
  11. my condolences to anyone in JHB that had seedlings growing. I'm glad I only planted mine a week ago so they haven't popped up yet.
  12. Last bunch Tim Bently styling the step down Davii Hogan whipping the Zore tables In flight on the new big table on Zore Pretty scary when you lean into a corner and that's what you see. I have soo much footage I don't know where to start editing.
  13. and more Decent to the Swiss SuperMill hitting a trail gap. SuperMill hitting a huge step down in Morgins
  14. Some screen grabs from our GoPro footage. Road gap in Chatel atempted x-up on Zore Patches pulling a 1 footer on Zore Tim Bently sending a fence crossing
  15. Keep all your old egg shells, crush them a bit and sprinkle them around the veggies
  16. Because you thought it was a bad design for some reason? or she did an OTB and land to flat head first!!! freak accidents can happen anywhere and on the simplest stuff, believe me, I know.
  17. Is that what she crashed on? The bridge looks perfect. If you could do something like that for your event it would be great. If that is where she crashed im guessing she went in too fast like Ratboy and landed to flat.
  18. I agree to a point but you have to be pretty fit just to hang on to a bike down a hill. even without peddling. But Yea, that was an impressive run, shows just how steep those tracks are.
  19. Ill take a picture of my slap stop design for the top, and I put some double sided tape on and put 0.5mm plastic on to protect the frame, made it quiet also.
  20. I can promise you that those kids, wives and girlfriends are not the ones that are going to straight line corners to try go faster or because they can't make the corners. Emmeies, I think has 3 corners that are being cut, ill use this to point out the idiot that keep on moving the logs put next to the protruding steel bar. The new line running down to the gym is also having a few corners cut.
  21. please show me where I have barked orders!
  22. Dude, get a life, please.
  23. "let me make it simple" you mean, unless you have a split personality? No where have i barked orders or told people what they have to do, I asked nicely. please provide some useful feedback or take your stupidity somewhere else.
  24. 'fabes' Let the dick swinging begin - only by those dissing the "spruit rats" 'Wyatt Earp' The opening thread makes insinuations that only a handful of people know who to ride bikes. - No, its simply says, try stay on the line. What do you define as riding a bike, because if its compared to GM then I really suck. 'fabes' I think everyone should just chill the **** out -All chilled thanks 'danger dassie It's a suburban green belt, not a dedicated biking trail. Something quite unique to Jhb and awesome in it's own right. All kinds use it, including people who will never ever ride their bikes elsewhere, or only ever ride on the odd occasion for say maybe 15km of any of the Spruit. When many of the preening strava manne and rats, lycra'd, baggied and all wheelsizes can comprehend this, they might actually realise what it means to cycle. So please, don't get too precious over 'your' lines. - So with having more corners it will hopefully slow these lunatics down. 'Vetseun' Im so happy for you - and i'm the Troll, 'dracs' Close enough? - No, he spends more time overseas 'Wyatt Earp' I think the entire topic and it's intention was based on trolling with the intention to get a few warnings issued. - Isn't this trolling? 'fabes' Thats great. Maybe peach can set up a fund raiser to collect money for these guys to get some decent bikes and after that the rat fairies can run some skills clinics for them - but I thought none of the rats know how to ride? 'Wyatt Earp' I don't think it's isolated to one or two individuals, but more an attitude by the amateur "downhill" bunch. It's hard for them to accept that we all like to do a different type of riding. - So accept that we like windy flowy trails. - If you dont like them stick to the straight path. 'voltex' This post must have been started by those baggy shorts guys with their loose fitting oversize shirts covering up their fatt boeps ,based on what you guys look like no wonder you can only ride the spruit - You hit the nail on the head, I am fat, slow, have no idea how to ride a bike and wear clothes 10 sizes too big for me. please teach me
