I ended myself on a GREEN trail Tyres for me will be a new set of Excavators, apparently they grip well and last a lifetime.

Yes, I started off on the GT Zaskar Trials frame which has a very similar geometry to a DJ frame. The things that make the biggest difference to a DJ setup is a long stem (120mm), riser bars, 22-18 gearing and good brakes.

haha, how tall is he, that bike looks like a small? We have a friend who did the last Cascades DH on his Trail bike, he crashed at least twice every run but he had the biggest smile out of everyone that day. Definitely worth the trip, even for beginners

That weekend is the Provincial champs for KZN XCO, DH and Enduro. If we get a bunch of guys there we could have an official but unofficial KZN champ
