  1. WooHoo Awesome, Thanks guys. Thanks to everyone that voted for my picture. Time to make some vids
  2. I hate you all
  3. World Champs 2013 this is at 1/100
  4. If your shutter speed is too fast it will freeze everything even when you pan, you need to be at about 1/150th to start getting any sort of blurred effect, unless the subject it moving really fast and you can pan quickly. to get the blurred effect the subject needs to stay the same distance away from the camera to stay in focus, this is why most pan shots you see are side on or shot from a moving camera like the one above, if I am not mistaken?
  5. Thanks for the compliments. Unfortunately a slower shutter speed or panning would have resulted in the rider being blurred, they were coming relatively fast through that section and were almost coming straight towards me
  6. I don't understand why if thehub was down early this am that the voting time needs to be extended, voters still had 4 hours to vote after thehub was running again.
  7. Yea the cycling industry is a bit loopy at the moment, a decent frame you looking at min 14k they know there is a huge market and are just taking the piss
  8. I guess the Doc messed up the doping quantities
  9. YT, I would possibly even consider the Capra or Noton for DH
  10. Some shots from last Fridays DJ session
  11. So who is keen to try this with me? http://www.pinkbike.com/video/369223/
  12. Davi and Ryan are staying same place as us
  13. I kinda like this
  14. There looks like there will be enough dirt in the launch to cut the launch down a bit and move that sand over for the landing, possible even a step up type of bump, ill come supervise to make sure you do it right.
  15. Those jumps are tricky, the sun is only in the right place for very short. Whenever I shoot there I pretty much always use a off camera flash, it helps a lot but unfortunately my setup can only sync at 1/200 No flash Flash
  16. Nice shots, It takes a while to get the hang of shooting riding, especially when you don't have the sun in your favor. Without a flash you want to push you ISO up without loosing too much quality, and shoot around 1/300th, f-stop you don't want to go too wide or you start loosing depth of field. what software do you use to edit? check if there is a noise reduction, I know the Adobe photoshop reduction is pretty good. this is when the sun is just right
  17. That will do it for most disciplines but definitely not DH, Trials and Dirt jump. That's how SA cycling works. In Europe you need the talent and training first, then you get the EPO.
  18. Dirk came 3rd on his KTM DH bike last year. There is a lot of peddling so a 120-150mm bike would be perfect DH bike is cool if you just going to have fun though but it is not needed for any of the trails.
  19. If I could just stop breaking my bones i'm pretty sure I could get a podium in World cup DH in Female elites that is
  20. Does being a rabbit count as riding at a WC? personally I wouldn't like to race because everyone would laugh at how slow I would be going compared to the pro's Bruni's helmet cam footage is just mental, the speeds he goes into the tree sections had me crying. (I know how much tree's hurt) Patch, wasn't Needles G-out last year?
  21. Got to test out my camera under 0 light conditions. After sunset with a "spot light" on the game vehicle. Shooting at ISO 6400, f2.8
  22. They burn the grass every year. No point in complaining, they will never repair it. Yea I reckon those gum poles need replacing also. Let us know when you fix it up, I come supervise
  23. I agree with the general public voting and the top 5 go to admin or the GoPro agents to decide on the winner
