  1. Go for it! Good price for the frame!
  2. Thanks!
  3. I have just built up a new bike for someone, and put a Shimano 105 groupset on a Giant OCR0 (model 2006) frame. The problem is, that at lowest adjustment, the brake pads only just reaches the rims, and therefor catches the tire a bit. It is worse on the back wheel than front. Have any of you experienced this. I believe Tektro brakes have longer "arms". Does anyone have to offer, or any advice? Thanks!
  4. K starting at 6:58. Expected better, but apparently the groups are smaller...
  5. I smell a guy with issues...
  6. What an idiot... Report his Facebook profile, his site and cell number... He's just bought himself a lot of k@k.
  7. Here's his Facebook profile, I think... Maybe not... http://www.facebook.com/people/Ken-Heuer/1126042354 dee_biker2009-09-16 04:02:15
  8. Now that is some good p0rn!
  9. Dirtgirl' date=' with your clear popularity on the hub, I'm sure you'll get a volunteer quickly! (sorry, I had to) [/quote'] any volunteers ? Somehow, I think this is going to turn into one of those threads where we show who's got the biggest calves...

  11. Also prefer the Dr Sludge, Slime has never worked for me. It is just too runny, and tends to go into the valve rather than the holes.
  12. Well if you asked "WHO THINKS HE IS THE BEST MOUNTAIN BIKER ON THE HUB", that 16 year old ( https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=56468&KW=paarl ) will probably be the first to say so...
  13. If your bum can survive a 4 hour mountain bike ride then hardtail. If you plan to do multi day events (Sabi, Epic, etc), get a dualler...
  14. So that's about 260gr difference on average, which is not bad for a alloy frame. Very good price. These frames are very cool! I can imagine the Carbon SL frame , with the Microshift White groupset, some lekka carbon wheels. What a ride! Maybe December if my bonus comes in! dee_biker2009-08-21 02:44:12
  15. Kiwi, guys, do we know the weight difference between the Carbon SL frame and the Superlight Team Alloy frame? That Alloy frame is also a beauty!
  16. I agree with the article, but think that if you plan to do a century or 3-4 hour ride, you need to have 3-4 hour rides in your plan too, at least every other week.
  17. My inseam is 88cm, and my saddle height I've put on 79cm from centre of BB to top of saddle. I think your saddle might be WAY to high. I personally don't like the Lemond 109% formula.
  18. I agree with Tarmac, get a black tyre with a white pinstripe...
  19. Wow, lucky bugger! Great photies dude, must have been quite an experience.

Well at that price range, you will probably get nothing else new. Good price I reckon. Could find a much nicer bike or 2 around on the hub second hand for about the same price.
  21. STOOPID game!
  22. WTF????
  23. And the debate continues... My two cents... If ever I am between 2 sizes, then I take the bigger one, cause this means you don't have to raise my saddle too much causing discomfort with handlebars being too low. Just use a shorter stem. In the other hand, if you prefer the aerodynamic speedy low handlebar, take the smaller frame, but use a longer stem. I've had many different oppinions, but in the end the bigger frame suits me better. dee_biker2009-07-20 23:51:02
