  1. I agree! Wonderful moments. My 5 year old (and his dad) also lives for these times together!
  2. Cool man! Awesome bike, enjoy!
  3. Victor Matfield
  4. Congrats!!! Too early?
  5. Sorry... he's right Assumed that the "standard" 120mm front shock also means that the back is 120mm...
  6. Only really maintaining... This bleddie cold weather makes it really tough... Getting up at 4am in the morning with 500 layers to go out on your bike with a 200lumen light is tough... But something magical about being on top of a mountain climb at 6am in the morning... Must say, getting easier... Just do it!

  8. Giant Anthem 29er X2 2012 model... (if you can find one)
  9. It is important to decide / know what type of rider you are. The VIPA is a racing machine, 80mm travel etc, where as the Pyga is a Trail machine, with 120mm travel.
  10. Yep, enough to upgrade your wheels too!
  11. If I had 20k I would buy a Pyga! IMHO.

  13. Specialized Fast Trak... Cheapest best tyre you will ever buy.
  14. WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!! Brought tears to my eyes! Impey jou DORING!
  15. Momsen sl729 in my opinion. Serious racing machine!
  16. Fantastic result! You need to be quite something special to keep up with Erik, man or woman!
  17. Did I hear someone say "FINES TO CYCLISTS"!?!? Idiotic.
  18. Long hours in the saddle... You'll be surprised how much weight you lose... I started a bit lighter after my weight training a couple of years back... 85, but 4 years later, a couple of Comrades and long rides, I now weigh 76. Don't have the biceps anymore, but my legs stayed about the same... My 2c. You don't have to diet, just keep on riding. Your body will decide what the optimal musle and body mass is.
  19. I lost 3kg's over December with just increasing my mileage and being consistent. Leave all the fizzies and chips... Phedracut works, but I would not recommend it for endurance athletes. It screws up the carbohydrate absorpsion and usage (what you need the most). Most endurance athletes, with a proper training and diet plan, don't have issues with weight.
  20. The question is whether you will trust this wheel... I know I wont. Going down a technical downhill at 50km/h and then hard on the brakes, I would rather want something I trust, and not have that clunk clunk clunk sound with spokes going!!!!
  21. E, was in C last year, but much fitter this year! WTF!
  22. WOW, jealous! Wish I could do that!
  23. Ja, I'm out... Damn... My daughter's having her 3rd birthday! I'll be dressed as a clown! Priorities...
