  1. Here you go... http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=255169.0
  2. I did exactly the same in my own car. After driving it around for 1 month. Geez

I agree but I thought the camera coverage was poor and not as good as at other tracks. Or is that just me?

    Oh dear..
  5. Apologies. Trying to post potos but they won't show. URL instead: http://www.wilddog.za.net/forum/index.php?topic=257654.0
  6. I reckon you would think differently if your jacket left a pool of oil under it..
  7. I empathise. This "on the road" charge is a plain ripoff. I walked away from a deal once because of it. You buy a vehicle in condition for use on the road and for them to charge for doing their job - adding hidden costs (your lack of transparency comment)- is out of line. The guys I was dealing with wanted to charge me R150 "cleaning fee" and R350 "Fica Fee" even though I was paying cash. I asked them if they bought a suit how would they respond to being charged a dry-cleaning fee? That shut them up.
  8. Geez, How do you do that? I thought of stopping but by the time the thought had crystallized in my head, I thought it was too much bother. I did wave oncoming traffic down though. It was my teeny contribution.
  9. A 3-in1 photo here. I think it applies to where has your bike taken you, is motorcycling allowed and also the snakes thread. Nice puffy I rode past on the road between Bot River and Theewaterskloof. Hope it made it.. I had trouble resising it so apologies if it doesn't look good I will rework it later
  10. All great but the top one, with the road calling into the distance, is my favourite. Swartberg is top of my list once this damn vaccine is sorted out. Will it be this year? Who knows? Ps: I note you pack like me - chaotically. Haha
  11. Spokey, 2 great photos and 2 great bikes. It's a measure of me now that I feel the KTM picture represents motorcycling more than the Ducati shot. Something to do with being closer to nature and more sensitive to conditions around you for safety's sake. Nevertheless they both capture bike and environment very well. More please..
  12. Edit: Nice watch.
  13. Haha, Who do you think you're kidding? Like you even looked at the bike..... Edit: But the voice...Eish...
  14. Haha. Riff raff indeed. I had to Google it to see what it was but knowing your history I sort of knew what to expect. It does look quite nice but no, not ridden one.
  15. Great work Andy. Next step: Following Itchy Boots' adventure up Sani.
  16. I think we are misunderstanding each other. When I said inland, I meant Great Karoo, not inland Transkei. Edit: So my fault, I didn't make myself clear.
  17. Really? Well I never. I thought the opposite was true. Well, it will be interesting to see where she goes nonetheless.
  18. So.. Opinions. Is she going inland next or to Wild Coast? I think inland is safer but Wild Coast will seem more exotic to her. She did say her next destination would be very different.
  19. She really is showing off SA's assets. I hope she continues to have a trouble-free ride. Edit: Spelling
  20. Anybody see the latest Itchy Boots video? Very impressive, both for her tenacity but also scenery and friendly locals

I saw those guys in Mouille Point about a year ago when on my way to coffee. All parked outside a coffee shop. 30 minutes later, I walked out again to see 2 of them having real trouble starting and one even push starting. by this time some members of the group had given up on them and were riding away. I had a good old laugh at that. Reminded me of the old days. Good old two-strokes..
  22. Hairy and Andy. It does sound like Honda are unneccessarily Corporate and unable to adapt to new thinking. Just for example, look what Fire it Up gave her in terms of free equipment and service and what great coverage she gave them. Hond sure missed a trick even after you throwing a golden marketing opportunity their way. Tsk
  23. Haha. 'Kin cheek
  24. From my perspective, living in Sea Point the ride there was a mixed bag and while the coast road always used to be a great ride, nowdays it's full of cyclists riding 3 or 4 abreast or just stopping when they feel like it. Added to that was the taxi problem in Hout Bay so it ended up not being a great occasion. For me, anyway. Edit: Spelling
  25. My claim to fame is that when I was short of work - and my girlfriend started getting very agitated about it - I registered to do manual work and spent a week or so painting the railings outside the Ace. Beaut colour and very professional job I must add.
