How much do you travel to justify a deconstructable bike? No menace, just a curious question?

I think it's not so smart. I see the positives in the argument, but unfortunately it is illegal. If you want to be treated like a vehicle on the road, abide the roads laws. Yes, it's dangerous, but there have been studies conducted where they found traffic to ride closer to riders on the wrong side. It becomes a driver "assumption" that the situation is less dangerous as you can see each other, therefore they are less likely to give you the space you require. Of course, intersections are a nightmare as well! Not only this, but all cyclists need to actively make vehicles SEE them by being on the road. You're missing the point. By no means is this ok. But honesty should be applauded, not picked apart by spectators. You're not helping with those comments. Instead, you're trying to make him feel worse than is necessary. Either take his apology or don't.

Flipping idiot. It's that attitude that gets you killed. I wish all drivers had to spend a mandatory amount of hours commuting on a bike before they could drive . imagine the awareness that would create! It would even be possible! Takes you months to get a test booking, you can do it while you wait! You could have instructor led rides, boosting the industry. I could go on and on. So many positives. Unfortunately, it's going to be a war for a long long time.

What's the quality of the flyxii stuff like? Anyone got one? Reliable?

Ok so I currently ride an alu scott road bike. Size is a virtual 56. TT is 545 ctc. Seattube is 560 ctt. I'm looking at a carbon frame with the sloping tt, but it's a medium. 534 tt and 540 Seattube. The reach on the scott feels a tad long, with a 110mm stem on there. But inseam feels good. Am I pushing my luck with the carbon size, or will it be ok with the seat post sticking out more and not cutting the fork down too much? I'm about 1,8m. Have longer legs and shorter torso, but only slightly. Please avoid comments on professional bike fit for now, have it planned once I have my frame as there isn't a perfect generic fit. Thanks!

Yeah man. Seems the posted limits for the frames is around 100kgs from most manufacturers. Online, a few guys around that weight report faultless performance for thousands of kms, so looking hopeful. Seems general consensus is that the frame limit is not as important as the wheels. So I'm going to pull the trigger and hope for the best!
