  1. Yip come on!!! Send positive vibes! What sometimes happens in these cases they give you medication to prevent swelling, so the spinal cord won't swell and damage itself more. The problem is the meds also suppress your immune system so you are more susceptible to infection! Hope the infection is stopped in its tracks! Be strong fellow cyclist!

  8. Correct P3 injured but not serious at all, "walking wounded'. The P stands for priority of injury.
  9. He should be ok then! The normal problem with these types of accidents are head injuries (look at the windscreen.) Wondwer if he was wearing a helmet? Broken arm, can live with that. P2 injured but not life threatening. P1 Life threatening/critical P4 deceased.
  10. Don't have any expereience with any of these, but internet research shows they are all good bikes. So it comes down to personnel preference. I would take the Momsen.

  12. 32GI bars are good but as mentioned pricey. The 32GI low GI drink is good for people who can't stomach food/bars while exercising!
