I am interested to hear how you did your poll? 90% of all MTB riders is thousands of people - was there a website somewhere that I missed? The guys I ride with (including myself) find a lot of things 'too technical' to ride, I wanted to change this so I went with people who boasts better technical skills than myself and workshopped technical sections over and over and over. I still ride around some obstacles that they effortlessly fly over, but I believe I am growing in skill. As long as they have chicken runs for those that find drop and jumps to technical, it is still fair IMHO. If you are referring to climbs, there I agree with you - they should build a shuttle service at every MTB trail!

They work great - my first one lasted 2 rides... tip - do not fall on it. Great video and audio though

Looking at replacing the fork on my wife's bike (2006 Rush 2000), but am not able to find a reference anywhere as to the max fork length one can use. It was built around a 110mm lefty, but that is the only info I can find - anyone have any idea / reference? I was thinking of putting a 140 on there to allow her to do a bit more of the gnarly stuff, but don't want to sheer the head tube off as that would prove to be counter-productive

The biggest desicive factor will be what kind of riding you are doing though - I would presume from you current set it is more XC? If the R1's are a bit steep you can definately look at the Formula RX. The Formula's modulation is terrific. But then there is also my XTR's I am trying to sell is you want...

Did a conversion with non-tubeless Nevegal 2.35's, and they worked fine. Not sure if the 2.1 and the 2.35 is the same though
