I own a Nomad and was really considering the Tallboy LT, but then the Bronson came along...... And now to test my brand loyalty I spotted the Niner WFO..... The Niner seems like a semi DH rig (160mm travel upfront. And a 67 deg head angle..... Also can fit a 170mm fork.....). All I can say is that we are spoilt with choices but now choosing is so hard!!! Which one of the 4 would you choose for a place like Jonkers and Tokai?

1) Saddle height - depending on how far you want to pedal, your legs will be stuffed pretty quick 2) Top tube lenght - the bike will feel cramped making longer trips uncomfartable And then factoirs that don't contribute to much 3) Weight 4) Rolling resistance of the those big tyres I had a friend who join us on a trip from Sabie - Pelgrimsrust on a DH bike, he simply used a longer seatpost but he was stuffed afterwards...... Riding this everyday will feel like jogging without propper shoes, but carrying a punching bag...... it can be done but other options is more comfortable :-)

Was thinking the same last night...... the guys need to reconcile if they have the best interest of Tokai at heart. Best way to get them to reconcile might be for them to work together....... vote in some of Vince's camp and some of Deon's ????? Might work......... But I will decided once they did their 2 min presentation at the AGM.

Technically it it still your bike...... end of story. You can try and get it back, but after 3 years I don't know if it will be worth the trouble......

There is no club or rules at this stage. Somebody needs to put the AGM rules on paper, publish it here, leave it , get feedback by a given date and then adapt that as the "interim" rules. untill the cimitee and its workings are finalized.

Who called the AGM, Vince? He needs to take ownership of it and let us all know how it will be handled. We cannot over write him as he is part of the process - he now need to finish what he started.

The "proxy" system will open the voting to abuse...... Might consider limiting the ammount of Proxies one person can carry?

I rarely show up for "public" forums and AGMs, it is not my style......... This time I will the exception as I feel it is needed and will not stand by when good work gets muddied, bullies try to take over, and incomponent people take over......we have enought of them in goverment and look were we are! If we loose we loose - the right thing is to show up, vote, state your case and hope the rest of the poeple think the same as you. ****That is me for today, my boss just told me I own him R20 000.00 for not working yesterday and today....damm hub!

Guys, My only goal is to get the right people on the comitee. Deon has a proven track record. The "Vince camp" not - and still to date they haven't given us any "HOW" they will bring Wistler-CT about. I question their motive and capability and still do.

Understand...... no problem. Its like soldiers, we"pay " tem to do the job we don't or can't do...... same here. Some want to "fight" and some want to ride....... your contribution can be something else some other day :-)
