No groundlevel snow but you will find some on the matroosberg, reachable by 4x4 only. Best is to join the matroosberg facebookpage as they update snow status on a regular basis.

Would say 1500 is approx the going rate. I had my mtb sprayed by cycleart in JHB a couple of years ago and it costed 1500. Post pics when done I also want to spray my bike matt black.

I can only guess you got tired of the type of riding you do perhaps? Mix it up or change. Swap you XC bike for an all mountainbike or your full suss for a hardtail. Or take a brake, nothing wrong with that either......

I Have done 1 and 2 without problems.....or I was just not seen. I did get a permit from SAFCOL to ride on their roads though. You really do need a mapof sorts since those "bosbou paaie" realy is a maze and evrything looks the same

My tone is positive! I am saying that we shouldn't fight the chrismas trees but rather see how we can work with them (and they with us). I fight enough in the office :-) and don't want to fight about cycling :-)

POS I agree with you, it should not be done without permission, doing so put alot in jeopardy. MTBers are not allowed to cycle anywere....and when we are we are only allowed from sunrise to sunset...... Night cycling is just another dicipline of MTBing, like DH is. Remember how DHers struggled to get trails to ride? What did they do when there was none? They created them illegaly and might have done ore harm than good....... Night riding is another MTB "dicipline" and it is not going away. They should be catered for otherwise they will keep on doing what they are doing. My suggestion - we should get a club in place and negotiate with SANParls for 1 or 2 nights when night riding would be allowed......... *****Ignore my spelling and grammar i am only on my first kop-o-koffie
