  1. You can definitely get it cheaper , if you're referring to the damper Then regarding the grip2 , imo its a waste unless you're willing to ride a harsh but fast bike South africans setup their bikes for a compromise between comfort and something , but that something is not speed. The shear amount of people I know that have factory 38's and x2's with all the adjusters wide open is staggering If you're not going to use , why pay for it ? I;ve been VERY surprised by the grip damper , its tracks very well and isn't too harsh ( maybe this is also helped that I'm a fairly light rider so needs less damping ) The above is also why I'll never get to the 38 , just not needed and my performance 36 is doing everything i need it to .....even beating some of those factory riders 10k in my opinion is much better spent on 2 basic services and a rebuild of both your shock and fork in a year. But hey I'm just some asshole that yells into the wind every now and then Salute
  2. Speaking of , OP if you are with cyclesure give them a call they may pay you out for this
  3. Considering he paid for something which they then didn't even deliver i don't think he's( THE OP ) too entitled here to start off with BUt I do agree Gnarly , f that event and just move on. Sucks but the mental strain isn't worth it imo
  4. Those are compatible with 3.30 stans , I've heard . Please don't take that as gospel. Second hand HG freebody for a hub that has already been updated is really not going ot fetch much. To give you an indication, i had a spare microspline freebody for bontrager hubs ( sells for 1881 new ) I sold it for 300 bucks. And people weren't beating down my door for it either. Make sure the bearings are good or new , clean properly and take some good photos. Then i recon you could get 500
  5. You don't perhaps know of someone selling one hey 🤣
  6. There's always 2000 Anyway , not something new but the fork got a nice rebuild
  7. dammit I was planning on stealing the 1000th page post 😅😅
  8. Okay it was old yesterday morning ...lets move on
  9. Wonder if someone used Thief and "Electro mech Auto services " in a public post if the OP would feel differently about doing this...
  10. how about stop buying there after this has been settled and move on with your life ??

  14. Same Been long thinking of fitting 1x1 on my ex and using a zee der i have to take the slack Just to try it out for a bit
  15. EThirteen made ( and maybe still ) a cassette with two parts , first part screwed onto a xd drive and the second part clicked into the first part That second part had a 9t at the bottom I think 14 isn't a hard sell if the ratios are really tight but jirrrr .....14 cogs on a rear wheel is getting abit stupid and gives merit to those ludicrous memes when eagle was just announced
  16. Just funny as i was looking for this thread another 32t ad popped up
  17. yeah there's also lots of Enduro riders . like myself The older gen of my bike was much lighter and felt more efficient so when i got it a 34t was perfect Now I'm thinking of going back to 32t cause the new heavier one ( more downhill bias than efficiency )
  18. https://bikehub.co.za/classifieds/item/chainrings/696930/sram-eagle-x-sync-2-32t-12-speed-chainring lolololo
  19. Once my GX (classic acoustic ) wears out I'll be on link glide and I really can't wait AXS looked cool but this whole thing is going to far now ...atleast for me
  20. They're probably already looking at 3mm with the stanky eye Transmission is probably the only thing they're really interested in forwarding and developing
  21. I'm surprised its not 30t .....way too many bikes come with those Whats the offset ? I think its probably more 6mm than 3mm right ?
  22. Though about this just for fun But two things 400 bucks for the 40km 😕 and having to click 5 times just to go to the price never mind having to enter
  23. Okay jrre I'm trying to help I've said the its crap product EVEN if you serviced the fork before every ride , I'm positive you'll see scratches after 100 hrs of use Bowing out here
  24. Keep taking the new fork back every time it discolors , they(cape cycles the ROCKSHOX agents) will replace it with something beter eventually ( you won't have to pay ) Just keep doing the admin , cape cycles will end it.
