How well do you think the Status will fair as an Enduro bike? Is it heavy? Obviously you will want to equip it with single crown air fork and maybe air shock. I just wonder how it will climb......when one have to. I really like the look of the frame, no frills just a very clean look.

Hehe SLiiick, yeah I am in heaven now. I have always had flats on my bikes, but back in the day I could drop my seat way down and still pedal. Now I need to be in the optimum position to lug my "fit -ish body for my age I guess" around. I feel my bike is pretty sweet at the moment, the dropper really did it! Flats n droppers 4 Life!

I'd say definitely go for it, sounds like a good deal to me. I dont know what the road bike is worth, but believe me the Stumpy will give you endless smiles. I have Elixer 7 Trails, riding with them for over a year now trouble free. Awesome stopping power and modulation. Also the levers kick ass and Matchmakers are a genius system. Less clutter, the Deore, SLX and XT levers are bulky....... Just saying

I had the same experience. Hubbers talked me into going tubeless.....Never looked back after that! Throw that crap away and do the same.

I dont know about Wild Mountain Adventures, but check this link out. http://www.wartrail....odation(2078615).htm I have stayed in Pitlochrie, I think it is the most beautiful place inland. 7kms of trout stream, and you can actually ride some wicked cattle tracks on the farm. Its very steep there and the farm is HUGE!!!! I would defs recommend it. There is not much around the farm, about 40kms from Rhodes, 30 from Barkley East and 20 kms from Lesotho border. We drove Lundean's Nek when we where there, breathtaking views!!!

Hi Nico Rhodes is a great place to stay. There is a bunch of guest houses there and some guest farms around the town. In Rhodes you can try the Rhodes hotel, its very old and has a great vibe to it. Also you can try Walkerbouts Inn, Dave Walker is the man to speak to there, he also used to brew his own beer which was awesome. Rhodes is a great base camp to go visit Tiffendell and to go flyfishing in the area, and off course biking. I havent been there in a few years, so things might have changed. I also still like having the real thing, but only the mags worth buying. MBUK and Tread thats pretty much it. I suppose if I had a tablet, then I would probably buy less magazines. I just do not really care much about electronics, I like mechanical stuff and invest mostly in them.

If its enduro specific, it must be super quick! Now I need it!
