S-Tracks or XTs. S-Track has got a very good pedaling platform and is lighter but tension can not be adjusted. S-Track cleat setup is more difficult with the use of shims. XTs are heavier but adjustable and bulletproof and many prefer the feel of spd. Whatever you do don`t get XTR cause the titanium axle breaks like a twig.

I agree, all these road rage incidents can be attributed to problems in the larger society. We are becoming a very intolerant society, and the ineffective police/justice system is a direct contributor to this.

Rouxenator is a man that does not spend too much R on mtb stuff, he is married. Yo Rouxenator, in the sport of mtb, sometimes it is necessary to spend some R on stuff to actually save money, especially with drivetrains, but also to avoid catastrophic failure when out doing an event.

Yep, this could happen. In that situation, it is possible that I might loose my temper and not care about the consequences, especially if I was younger. Now that I`m older I would probably think before I start a brawl.

If I`m riding in traffic and people in a car is having some fun throwing things at me, I will be extremely pissed off. If that car stops and I confront these people, and they chirp or smile or laugh, then I think I might loose my temper completely.

Yes, I live in an utopia of not stereotyping. Stereotyping is bad. I try to not do it, as I expect people not to stereotype me, but it yes happens, but then I do not care.

There are many cyclists, there are so many that amongst them you will find many "not very nice"/"unwise"/"agro" people. I really do not care if people stereotype me because of the dumb actions of someone else. I do not stereotype rugby players as being thugs because of a swinging of handbags incident, I do not expect to be stereotyped badly because of the dumb actions of other cyclists, and if I am, I just do not give a crap.
