    Awesome bike that. In one review the tester completely smashed his best time on his 1st attempt, on a trail that he tests many bikes on. He then got off the bike and proceeded to order one for himself.

    I think the alu sx version is a bit overpriced compared to the non-sx. The alu sx (R32-33k) is a slx bike and the alu 1 is xt but the xt bike cost R28k-30k, The sx does have the dropper though. The alu 2 version is like R24k with a Reba that can easily go 120mm.

    Try to get some of the bead seated by using your hands and pulling hard on the sides of the tire. If the the bead is partially seated then the air will escape less easily when inflating. Even if just 1 side of the tire is partially seated, it should be enough to make the air grip and pop the entire bead into place.

    Remember how Hamilton held up on purpose his own team mate Alonso in the pits during qualifying one race - just lame and bad sportsmanship, not even Schumacher steeped that low.

    I do not see this aire of entitlement at all, in fact I think Rosberg is the nice guy here and Hamilton has always been acting like a spoiled brat. Hamilton has grown up a bit but not much. So what if Rosberg was born into money? All these drivers are stinking rich. I have new found respect for Rosberg as a driver for kicking the arrogant playstation brat`s arse.

    Back in the day elliptical chainrings was common. I remember my cheap road bike with Shimano 105 having elliptical chainrings and only the new top-end stuff started putting round rings on, and then we all thought we must get round chainrings it must be better. Nowdays the pro teams have started using it again and they will definitely have some science to back up their use.

    This kid in F1 thing is just BS to make it interesting. They were hellbent on getting a woman into F1 a few years back - she crashed and lost her eye when she drove into a truck, then that fantasy stopped, same thing with the kid now. P.S I`m not saying it is not possible for woman or youngsters to make it in F1, but it seems these things are forced, trying to make it interesting, which is wrong.

    Giant Anthem Advanced for me is the clear winner here. It will leave the Pyga behind. The Pyga is the better choice for trail riding. For leisure rides and a funride now and then, that Anthem is better choice for me. Carbon is better than Alu.

    Pyga is a better trail bike due to more travel, but I would say the Anthem is the more versatile bike because it is a better racer but also very good down the trails.

    I have never encountered any of these examples you mention, these obvious misrepresentations you mention are not common. However, Retail misrepresentation of prices are very common. The reason they do this is simple, because they can, SA consumers are suckers.
