    Cricket......

There was a piece on cricinfo asking the same question. ie, Why do the T20 tournaments like IPL, BigBash, and whatever the Windies' have work, and attract sold out stadiums, and yet the SA version is a damp squib. I'll try find the link.
  2. Must be a mistake. I didn't ride.
  3. Seems quite hectic. Hoffman died.
  4. The motorbike forums have the same debate. Repeatedly. I like this answer from one of them:
  5. I use this: http://images.motorcycle-usa.com/PhotoGallerys/Blue-Tac-Chain-Lube.jpg
  6. It provides proof that mtb-ing is indeed the new golf, and the average joe mtb-er is gullible?
  7. What a disappointment to click on a photo of the day thread, and there isn't even a single photo anywhere. Unsubscribe. I'll go back to "where has your bike taken you", "pics that make you want to ride", and "ladies and bikes" threads. At least they have pics.
  8. Cause they watched the Tour de France... Funriders. What ya gonna do? It is a valid racing tactic if you are strong enough and the wind is vicious enough to split the group.
  9. This guy wins. @ OP: If you absolutely must have that new bike smell in your garage, then go with the Giant with Ultegra. Most bang for buck out of all your choices. Remember to forget the brand hype, all the carbon frames you mention come out of the same couple of factories in Taiwan...
  10. And clearly you don't. This a massive international company that conducts business year round, and doesn't have only two days in which to make money. They aren't hiring casual labour for this one event, they are using their existing infrastructure. The rest of your rant is completely pointless and irrelevant. Why do sites like hellopeter exist? Why do companies have representatives on forums and social media platforms? To address random strangers complaints. Talk about logic, you have none.
  11. For safety and security issues, a closed twitter group would be a better idea in my opinion. It's a good idea you have, but whatsapp is not secure. If you go the twitter route, run it as forced ssl only.
  12. Best you look into upping that insurance then...
  13. I have done this as well.
  14. Well, at least they look better from the back than the front...
  15. Yeah, I am aware, they just sometimes look ridiculous, like the one in the pic
  16. And I thought the motorbike tyres were expensive.
  17. Yeah, last bike I bought new, I bought the frame, and it stayed wrapped up for nearly eight months while I bought all the bits, and then I only built it. One before that, I changed a few bits on a complete bike, picked them out at the shop, and they swapped them out before I took delivery.
  18. Well, the last bike I bought new I did that.
  19. Sure. Then again I'm not as fussy as most of the members here seem to be.
  20. Nothing. Why not get it set up and kitted the way you want it at the bike shop if you're buying new?

Turn the airconditioning up? Usually works in my office...
  23. Go Katie!
  24. Yeah, cause I have to be pin point accurate for a missile strike. Trust me, for endomondo, even my ancient Nokia 6110 Nav is perfect.
