  1. Well the misus prefers to call it something else but each to their own
  2. Took a Tumble into the weeds but yeah that is lucky, recon u could do some bad impaling to your body if you come off wrong and in the wrong place. First time I went over them I was in the completely wrong gear (typical roadie heavier gear) and almost came pipe, lesson learnt
  3. The buzz rack is quite sturdy I will say, from joburg to the drakensburg then to durban then back to joburg (all in our lovely windy months) with a hatchback and didn't have to stop once to check the rack, was quite impressed.
  4. sheesh that is hectic, even the smaller 1s are quite intimidating when ur up there. Not a nice situation to be in
  5. burning feet after 5k's could probably be from your shoes being to tight, next time you go for a ride and u feel ur feet burning then try loosen the straps just a little. Having said that I think having the right cleat position is also of the utmost importance and even if you are over tightening ur shoes still get ur cleats set correctly
  6. Slightly confused
  7. Well if they are both the same price then have a look at weight, obviously the lighter 1 will b easier to attach to the vehicle and remove (plus a little petrol saved here and there isn't ever bad. My Uncle is the Agent for Buzz rack so I am giving a unbias opinion here. Mike tell Cajees they are talking rubbish, they know exactly where, they just dont want to send it.
  8. My Brothers crossmarks do the same, Have no issue with my Conti's though Seeing a common denominator here
  9. hahaha its all good, my Ghost will haunt me even more then, but my misus on the other hand would probably castrate me. . . . eish being involved with a vet can be quite dangerous, they do it for a living hahaha. Back 2the bikes, have a serious look at the Ghost dual sus's, they are awesome
  10. lol I'll forgive u this time for missing it well yes and no, got the brakes fixed at a crazy overprice, but all the fluid that leaked on the pads had seaped into them so they didn't work 100% (had a goot hooter though lol)
  11. lol glad to know my kits make us look so dedicated hee hee hee Be honest guy, its not the pics of the outride, its that beautifully sparkling white Ghost bike of mine lol Can see Crasher eyeing it out there Well im doing another run of my OTR kits, I will do them at cost for any1 that wants a set? (will put my top chamois in )
  12. lol read the heading and thought some guy was trying 2trade his girlfiend for a MTB hahaha
  13. A pic of the guys and the view for the climb, just past the quarry on our way to teak
  14. lol Alas I even lost all the brownie points I didn't have lots of ground 2make up on that fron lol
  15. Aaaa man, that sux guy, hope you get better soon bud, take an extra week if you have 2, rather b sure ur over it than get back on and do damage. I might have to take 4weeks off 2, got alot of making up 2do with the misus lol so my fitness levels will still b low 2 eish
  16. Hahahaha Turn up your hearing rate, i mean aid. but mostly 80% selectivly deaf myself.
  17. Waaaaaa hahahaha 20kg camelbak im 2 skinny for that, i'll end up with back issues Was a really awesome ride guys thanks, wish we could have done more of teak but ya we really have to leave earlier if we going to get that distance in, the last 10 time trial was a little nasty (think I might actually get devorced if I arrive that late again hahaha, still made it on time though ) But that route was awesome Crash, company was top class and I had a blast.
  18. My Grandfather Bob Fowler, In my opinion he was the greatest SA cyclist, wish he was still with us but I feel his legendary presence every time im on the bike.
  19. my old man, my 2 brothers and myself are in. . . . if I get my bike back 2day lol
  20. I do agree with u there, they get the points for bringing out the first commercially available (fully functional) units. They seriously missed the boat with the MTB revolution so hopefully they can add a few extra things to their electro group to make it stand out even more than their sexy styling. But if not I will still stay old school cables for as long as I can, I love the way campy makes my bike feel and look.
  21. Aaaaa that is awesome, so Guy will get up there then 2 hee hee (sorry guy, couldn't resist) but it sounds like you both enjoyed it, swampy rides are always fun I am taking my bike in now. hopefully it'll b done by sunday, quite keen 4sunday, got to get a decent ride in. Cant make tomorrow morning, got to take my lil Lab puppy for her first lesson lol feel like a father eish. Next week I am in for sure. 2 rides. let me know the plans and i'll make space on my side.
