I'v always been a campi guy but i must admit, the electronic shimano is quite nice. 1 thing I will say is Campi are definately not playing catchup, if you look back they were the first to come out with an electronic groupset but did not persue it for long and stopped production, there were too many variables and they believed improving the tried, tested and trusted system was the better way to go. Can still service all ur campi stuff inhouse, shimano goes funky and you have to call an electrician and a computer programer lol my 2c

Sidi are probably the best option if you are looking at spending extra, you can replace parts on them, the tread on the bottom, the ratchets and the ratchet strap. . . . o and you can get snazy toe guards for the dragons if you find urself kicking the toe alot. so my 2c, have a look at Louis garneau and Sidi and decide for yourself. Eldron, have a look at the new LG T-Flex 300, they are custom moldable and can be repetitively molded by conventional household means

Did u ride the silverstar race La? went through some awesome trails (kingskloof MTB park) im keen for some exploring there, bring the climbing shoes though, eish.

lol, Brakes. . . . . what are those yeah that dang wire did some damage to the spirits (and the bike paintwork), was a bit peaved but what can we do (long as the bike still roles forward ) Was great meeting and riding with u guys yesterday, will definately do it again next week after a bit of new years recovery lol. With more people we can do some exploring, there are some great routes we can still go do given more time Let me know when we going again

lol I often pretend to chuck the bottle and give it a squeeze, awesome when the window is open (if u happen 2 take out the energy drink bottle by mistake then their seat, face, windscreen, seatbelt will get nice and sticky lol)

or safer, chuck your water bottle at their windscreen. BUT check if there is any1 else in the car and think twice about doing anything if there is, its not teir fault the person they are driving with cant drive and is an ass

Carry a handfull of ball barings in ur pocket, chuck them in the air when a car does that, ball barings + car traveling at 80 = shotgun infront of the car and 1 stuffed radiator.
