  1. Is reading tit a form a brail' date=' you understand the message when you feel the bumps under your fingers. [/quote'] Must be carefull though it can be read in different sizes languages Luckily these days you can firm up the language Would it still be called the gift of tongues hee hee
  2. Post some replies to the threads ur reading it'll up ur status
  3. Great thing about the choice is exactly that lol u have the choice, can get the red top with the saddle as well as a white 1, so u can change as u wish. Ride almost every day and luv my prologo choice, if ur used 2 the Nago the choice isn't any difference in hardness
  4. nice nice bud, looks great! check the prologo Choice saddle out, it'll look the shiz niz with it on. this is it on my custom bike. FowlStArt2009-09-29 08:36:52
  5. Best way to get the pads all 100% shhhh its a secret lol The problem with the oil is that it soaks in2 pad and softens them up a lil, u can clean the pad of the surface oil but not the oil that is soaked in SO Take the pads, soak them in meths (the purple spirts lol) leave them in there for a few minutes so the spirits soak in, take them out, put them on the driveway and light them with a match or lighter, this pulls the oil out and burns it and the heat hardens the pads up again. (should burn for about 10-20seconds) Scrub them up a lil with soap or cleaner 2get the burnt oil residue off and ur Snorted bud
  6. Sheesh the LBS saw u coming dude! Cost me R500 for lever, springs and all brand new. If they want to put shimano cables then they trying to make even more cash, you have to file down the lead tips quite a bit for them to fit in2 the campi lever. suggestion on changing ur LBS
  7. Holding thumbs and praying for you bud, will have you in mind when we out on the roads and trails. Fight fight fight and get well soon bud
  8. I run a 10spd Blade with 9speed casette. only the levers make a difference. BUT 11spd has to all b 11spd cos the thinner chain needs different sized blades, dreailer wheels and front derailer width, mmmm its the shiz niz
  9. Motorists get on my ninnies i tell u, specially this growing trend with some motorcyclists, get as close as they can when they passing u (at crazy man speed) and as they get next 2u they pull the clutch in and open the trottle, then let the clutch out and speed off grrrr BUT having said that, plenty cyclists piss me off 2, no regard 2 road rules, as road users we should abide by all the road rules as motorists do, like stopping at RED robots and waiting for green etc get hacked when i see guys just going through, we are all (like it or not) ambasidors for our sport and if some child sees us go through a red robot will think he can do the same on his bike and that can cost him his life!
  10. They just know how 2make a bike look the business
  11. If you only ride road you will battle on the mtb and if you only ride mtb you will battle on the road, gearing and purchase per peddle stroke is completely different along with body conditioning, Best is to do as close to even amounts on each (favoring ur prefered disapline of course) so i'd say if ur a roadie then 1 technical mtb ride and 1 long mtb ride a week then the rest road it'll make u strong like russian bull and tough like nandos lol. If you only train twice a week then 1 long road, 1 long MTB. Hope that helps bud Happy training and ride safe.
  12. Hi Five Josh lol Listen 2him guys, his reason is way more scientific than mine hee hee
  13. Get Some rollers, better 4the bike and training
  14. Damn i thought i'd b the first to open the can hahaha I do agree with Mamps a bit though, CWC are having a great special on that groupset, so if budget is an issue then check it out it might b ur best bet. I didn't say that. . . . . . . NOOOOOOO lol.
  15. Campagnolo all the way bud. Go check the campagnolo web site and decide 4 urself, they have low entry level ranges like zenon and mirage, but have a look at the Centuar, Chorus, Record and if you have a huge budget then check the baby of all babies, SUPER RECORD its niiiiiiice
  16. we spread out when we c the cycle lab groups, cos if 1 of them actually greets back, we might fall off hahaha
  17. Hahaha had something similar on saturday morning, Im a pure roadie at heart (hit the trails on the mtb once a week). My old man is 55 (from the era where men were men lol) and ever since i started riding we Always wave or say hi 2 ANY other cyclist. Riding to the EPR we passed some MTBers on the trail past ball and bucket driving range, lifted our hands and said "MORNING" the 1 dude looked at the other with this serious confused look, a few seconds later we hear this faint 'morning' hahahaha was the funniest thing. glad 2 c we not the only roadies who say hi to ANY other cyclist HI-FIVE
  18. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Personally I would go 4the Chumba, You can always upgrade components as you go along but without a decent frame to go with those components u can only go so far b4 having to upgrade the frame. Don?t compromise on a frame, cos the frame determines your overall feel. Scott know this and most of their scale range are the exact same frame (except the carbon frames) just the componentry differs.
  19. I will Post pics of my bike soon
  20. If your Hear rate monitor suddenly starts reading a un humanly high heart rate then check your shirt, if the shirt isn't a decent fitting shirt then the flapping in the wind taps the chest strap and registers as part of your HR
