  1. Thanks. Dumb question, obviously local tax.
  2. Hi Hubbers I'm on a business trip to Europe next month and I'm thinking of buying from Bikeinn while there. Is Bikeinn a good online store or is there another store you would recommend? I noticed that the price jumps a lot when I select Euros instead of ZAR but then there's the shipping. Anyone had that issue? Hoping to get some sound advice here. I'll be in Spain and Portugal if that makes a difference. TIA!
  3. So... this or this? Details: Included in this deal is: - Mr Shades PID and guide - Low profile drip tray (so that bigger cups can be used), and the original tray - Precision IMS filter basket - Original filter baskets - Blind filter basket (for cleaning) Older model and he wants R8200
  4. Looks like it. Wanna go? I found this on the interwebs
  5. I have a friend who has a brand new Philips Saeco Xelsis Long story short, he works for Philips, won the unit and he can't use it as he suffers from migraines. He's looking for R20k, new is apparently R35k. Drop me a PM if anyone here is interested.
  6. Woolworths is running a 20% off 2 packs of coffee beans if anybody is interested.
  7. 21 days is little to sacrifice in light of what's happening. Resist the urge.
  8. Guys, just use common sense. We really don't want the 21 day lockdown to become a 2 if not 3 month lockdown.
  9. So Gauteng will be closing all nature reserves from Wednesday. I assume that would impact Modders too?
  10. Try the Ghetto cmopressor. My coke bottle has never failed me to seat a tyre.
  11. Saw an aeropress for sale on Facebook marketplace for R300. For those interested. It was listed 5 days ago.
  12. How does everyone feel about the time of the group rides?
  13. So I took a look at Discord. Riders use it to communicate during the ride. I assume it's also used to organise group rides etc. Discord is very easy to use and the advantage is that no personal information is required to set up a profile (no telephone number, ID, etc).
  14. Bugger! I would so love to join but doubt I will make this session. Please, please, please, keep me updated with all future group rides. Great initiative!
  15. Saw this right now https://www.facebook.com/groups/252204844990330/permalink/1300039380206866/?sale_post_id=1300039380206866
  16. Wait what? What coffee shop? And I live in the area!
  17. There's the coffee and tea emporium in Bedford Centre. They usually stock the filters. That's not too far for an East Rant Boitjie
  18. Did you do a clean when you first got the machine? It's best to run a cleaning tablet through. I also use filtered water on my Jura.
  19. Mild normal strong is the amount of coffee that is used.
  20. You should be able to get a F50 or F70 for about R5k to R6k. They are workhorses. Quite a bit pop up on classifieds if you just wait a little.
  21. Plunger is a great way to start experiencing real coffee. An alternative is an Aeropress which is probably a few hundred more than the plunger you have there. But let's see what the purists say...
  22. Just don't wiggle the plunger when doing the inverted method. Learnt the hard way.
  23. If you're patient, you will find a decent second hand Jura Impressa for R5000.
  24. Very nice! Where's this?
