  1. I have a huge old speaker magnet that I keep in the garage for just this reason!
  2. Find a cleaning supplies company. You will be surprised how cheap 4l of isopropyl alcohol is.
  3. I have been tempted to ride at suikers on my own but those downhills are hectic and it is pretty isolated. So I would say rather go ride with a mate or if you really want to go ride by yourself, let everybody know where you are and how long you expected to be gone for. I posted it somewhere but I had a mate come off badly there and he had to be airlifted to hospital.
  4. Who does cross fit
  5. I would also like to know. You don't get crema and the cascading effect from the aeropress as far as I know?
  6. Oh, is it that time already? /Heads off to the kitchen
  7. I saw this listing too. Someone got a great deal.
  8. Problem with fog is that it gets everyone. Both have pros and cons.
  9. I have the Jura Milk Frother. It does what it says, hot, cold. I actually don't use it at all. Make me an offer if you're keen.
  10. Is this still on offer?
  11. Congrats! You won't regret it. The best thing, when you ever upgrade, you will get your money back. Now what beans?!?
  12. Both will make great coffee. Will the E6 makes coffee that's twice as good as the F50? Highly doubtful.
  13. I have the exact same frame waiting to be built. I have a very lekker Niner rigid carbon fork and CB cobalt 3s which I plan to put on her.
  14. You can't go wrong with any of those. The rest is up to aesthetics and the kitchen counter space your wife is willing to compromise on!
  15. Ok, turns out I typed the wrong number. It's a C9 that I have. The C9 is finished in a shiny piano Black instead of the silver and I find the user interface to be a bit more user friendly. I think the C series was the upgrade to the F series. I found my F7 for R5k and my C9 for not much more. Not sure what your budget is. You can't go wrong with any of the Impression range as far as I am concerned. Oh, also invest in the big tub of cleaning tablets. Don't buy the pack of only 10. It works out a lot cheaper if you are like me and drink copious amounts of coffee.

  17. It's the only way to make sure that it's valid. That's assuming the race organisers get back to you. But then again, if you know someone who has entered guess you could still scam people. This Eugene Gerber has zero posts, zero content on the hub.
  18. If you buy a new Jura, it's expensive. 2nd hand has good bargains and most are in very good condition. R5k to R7k you can get a F7, F50 or a C7. I had a F50 and upgraded to the C7. I really like the coffee that it makes. My friend's unit did come with the 1 year guarantee. They did come out a couple times to service it but the problem persists. His is a F50 if I recall correctly.
  19. I can only speak for Jura. They are awesome coffee machines. Nothing wrong with second hand and you can find some good bargains if you're patient. I did make sure that I got a machine that was regularly serviced. With regards to Aquapresso, my friend bought a 2nd hand Jura from them and the machine has been giving issues since he got it. The right spout just will not run even after a service and a clean. Maybe it was just bad luck?
  20. We hate you... Nah, not really. Congratz!
  21. May have? Didn't you get that black beauty?
  22. So this was "marked down" to R8500 a couple days ago and has just been posted at R6500.
  23. I don't use Zwift so can't comment on the functionality thereof. But the wahoo cadence sensor that comes with the Kickr attaches to your shoe. So there's no problem with using multiple bikes.
  24. Came across this thread now. Sounds epic. Makes me want to head off to CT now.
  25. I have put my road bike on the Kickr but I am running a 11s campy groupset. It's currently working with the packaged 11s cassette. Should I rather be looking at getting a campy freehub and cassette to minimise wear on my drivetrain? And if yes, where?
