  1. We hate you... Nah, not really. Congratz!
  2. May have? Didn't you get that black beauty?
  3. So this was "marked down" to R8500 a couple days ago and has just been posted at R6500.
  4. I don't use Zwift so can't comment on the functionality thereof. But the wahoo cadence sensor that comes with the Kickr attaches to your shoe. So there's no problem with using multiple bikes.
  5. Came across this thread now. Sounds epic. Makes me want to head off to CT now.
  6. You mean Cyclofo? What Stiggy said, inside Triosport now.
  7. I have put my road bike on the Kickr but I am running a 11s campy groupset. It's currently working with the packaged 11s cassette. Should I rather be looking at getting a campy freehub and cassette to minimise wear on my drivetrain? And if yes, where?
  8. Just been posted. Some changes annnnddddd.... Route start and finish reversed again Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  9. The Kickr comes with a Gates carbon drive belt. Will a standard automotive belt do the same job?
  10. Easiest set up for me is a Samsung phone to link Kickr and Garmin sensors (Fenix 3HR). I then cast the screen to my TV. Easiest thing.
  11. Beats is marketing hype so never even considered getting a set. JBL... I have the E65BTNC I think it is. Looks great but the NC has been horrendous and now I get crackling in the one headset. Very disappointing. Sony, I don't recall the model right now. It's a corded set but has been excellent every time I've used it. Bose - I have the QC15. Bulletproof. Looking at getting the Bluetooth plug in module for them now. Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  12. Beats - crap JBL- crap Sony - Surprisingly very good. Bose FTW
  13. Pics? Sent from my Mi A1 using Tapatalk
  14. Off topic but is it safe to ride there? During the week it's crazy with cars and trucks and on weekends, it's a ghost town.
  15. How do you make it public? I would be keen on that route... even though it's just outside my front door.
  16. I would also like to know who MeatyHead is. He/she's flying the Saffa flag high.
  17. I started using Rouvy with my laptop and an ANT+ stick. It's quite a powerful machine but a business model so no fancy GPU. It struggled to keep up. I've switched to my Samsung phone and that runs flawlessly (and has ANT+ built in). I have a simple tripod with a phone mount on top to hold the phone in front of the bike. I'm looking to eventually get a Sammy tablet as it seems to be the best option.
  18. PM me your email. I'll send you one.
  19. I would love some to start but unfortunately I'm in Jozi
  20. Cyclefo is helping clear some Colnago frames. If anyone here is interested. www.cyclefo.co.za
  21. Quick question, does anyone know if there are showers at Modders?
  22. I rode Modders for the second time since the reversal a couple weeks back. 1. Certain sections overgrown but as a previous poster said, it's January and still catching up from December leave. 2. The reversed route is actually quite enjoyable... once you get over all the climbing in the first 5-7 kms. There are still confused riders going in the opposite direction (maybe it was me?) but all in all, great fun. 3. The restaurant was open when I was there. It was a Saturday. We didn't eat anything but it was chilled and they have 2 BIG containers of ice water for thirsty riders after their ride.
  23. Has there ever been a Colnago meet in South Africa?
  24. That section runs next to an informal settlement so it is best to ride in a group.
