I heard that there have been 2 muggings under the bridge on the BRT cycle lanes as you arrive\leave the CBD. Are these true or just rumors? The story I got was that they are grabbing your backpack as you cycle past and this happens at about 4:15 in the afternoon.

I tried the Bell but the visor seemed to small compared to my current visor. In the wind and afternoon sun it has proven to be useful. I will add this to the research list. (Are bell and Giro not made at the same place?)

I want to get a new Helmet for MTB. So far My options are: Cratoni Titan, Giro XAR and Fox Flux. I currently have a rudy project (nice helmet). Any comments?

I got a thin cable that has a plastic coating (came with my first holdfast rack). It loop it through the tow eye at the back of the vehicle. Bike rack locks onto towbar. Rack has own locks. Cable will go through wheels, sometimes saddle rails as well and I use one of those all weather rubberised round locks. I try wearing denims, but I have found that you can "roll" your clothes up and they crease less. Pack well because if you get a mechanical and need the tools from the bottom of your back pack you will unpack everything and it will not go in as neatly. I found carrying a plastic shopping bag folded neatly is useful for broken tubes, chains or whatever went wrong.
