  1. That's pretty much it in terms of disappointments. But there's an extensive list of things that I've driven. Did you take it from the Lotus center at Silverstone? With the chequered flag on the side of the building? Love that place. Here's a pic of me drifting past it *note the tiny SA flag on the boot
  2. An Exige is like sitting on a couch in comparison Exige / Elise is second on my list of cars that I thought would be awesome and weren't what I expected.
  3. Those low cars might be cool to look at but they'd be terrible to drive. I used to think that GT40's were awesome cars until we built one in my workshop, and I then drove it around. Practically lying down while driving is not comfortable or cool and I ended up hating it.
  4. This is a great initiative if the right races are loaded
  5. I only got half way through that video, but it's a pretty good example of why cyclists are hated by motorists. All of those red lights that you went through, riding across solid white lines and then drafting the truck with zero visability. You're the one giving the rest of us a bad name.
  6. Amazing to see! Makes me wonder about the Oak Valley 24hr I'll just have to ride faster!
  7. I've never found anything that interesting...
  8. Aah man! Wrong province! I'd normally be up for any free race, but that's a bit far away... Hope you have a speedy recovery
  9. If you're wanting to give it away.....
  10. Contact ProBike directly - that's what I did. Got sorted very quickly. PM me if you'd like the email addy.
  11. 500 internal server errors are driving me mad

  13. I'm able to post from Chrome on PC, but it takes a few attempts with all of the 500 Internal Server errors. Same as trying to view topics or even ads - 500 Errors.
  14. Rode this yesterday for the first time in over a year! It's a lekka route now with a good mix of nice trail and terror - just what you need! Just wish that there were more trails around it. It really does feel like you're far from anybody when you drop in there alone.
  15. Nice to meet you guys
  16. We use SnapScan here at our shop. It's great! Quick, easy and secure.
  17. I'll be there
  18. This is exactly what I was meaning in my first post on page one. The 29er wheel carries more distance per rotation, so less disc moves through the pads on the 29er traveling at the same speed as the 26er I think that we're all finally on the same page! Doesn't seem to help the OP though....
  19. Good enough for me! Being paid would be nice, but just helping to make Tokai nicer is enough for me. As long as there's beer...
  20. Is payment not in beer?
  21. A 29er wheel travels further in distance with each rotation of the wheel than a 26er. Therefore a bigger rotor is needed to achieve the same braking force at the same speed. Simple really.
  22. I've gone ass over end over that log before, so I'm a bit hesitant to try and launch it. Slow down, unclip one foot, edge over and go. A few seconds lost, but I'm not racing anyone. I've gone over it with no problems in the past, maybe it's just a mental block.
  23. That log is a bit sketchy. It's the only thing in Tokai that I'd rather walk over than ride over, even with the newly added branches and stumps to make it more passable. I've been thinking recently that all of the snakes are not in great condition and in need of some TLC, but over the weekend they felt great for some reason. Maybe it was just a dialed in day.
  24. Hi Guys I damaged one of my front spokes and two of the nipples during the 99er last weekend, and am really struggling to find replacements. The wheel is a DT Swiss R1650 which seems to have a weird nipple. Does anyone have any ideas? Help!
