  1. road electricis fine but this XTR is not electronic
  2. Ok suggest you mail them and ask them about it then. Would be curious to find the answer because Cannondale agents said warranty is 5 years but the site says Lifetime.
  3. That odd. The registration page asks you to register to receive the warranty termsand conditions. Maybe they mail it too you once registered. Look took about 8 hrs to mail confirmation of registration
  4. lets face it, without a police officer with a warrant accompanying them, they're pretty hopeless. CB has a legal team that advises on the best way forward for all their articles. I don't think they view it as a major crime at this point but what they did was reaise a lot of awareness around whats going on out there. They are also not going to implicate the whistleblower.
  5. The patent expired a few years ago but they renewed it as far as I know. Not sure for hopw long a renewal lasts but i suspect its a much shorter period.
  6. You can polish a turd all century long, no matter how much pressure or polishing, its still a turd I hope this concludes the debate
  7. Generally the graphics on the bikes are copyrighted. However specific elements like cheque are not copyright eligable on their own since it is something in the broader public domain. I am sure SSpecialised will still take defending something like "Red" to court. The funny thing is that strong brands don't need to resort to threatening litigation to protect their product unless it against an obvious copy and blatant plagiarism. Clearly the SS has some brand identity and strength issues so some posturing is needed. Its also very clear that Ike Sinyad was not a very sincere person when he apologised to cafe Roubaix.
  8. Dewalt probably wears a fake helmet too. After all they're still strong, good looking and a moer of a lot cheaper
  9. the crux being "Moer lot cheaper" which the OP did not experience. Can we lock this thread till Andrew has something to add. The washing cycle seems to be on stuck on repeat synthetics
  10. 195L from 1985 through to 1987, In 1988 it was 150L
  11. I remember when MTB would get a weekly 40 min show called Old Mutual World of Endurance. Ok maybe 20-25min was MTB but its still a lot more in 1998-2002 than we get today when he sport is bigger now than ever
  12. the problem with the rules is that you had to perform rather poorly AKA like Mercedes for the past few seasons so that all your resources went into 2014. The engine freeze rules are also pretty stupid since it does not allow for the development of the engines during the season. Renault pretty much know their issue is software and turbo related. Ferrari don't know where they went wrong. Sorting these problems out is going to take time and money which means if you don't have a Merc engine in 2015, you're fooked. I am surprised Renault is so far behind because Nissan has some really awsome active hybrid technology. I also suspect that Red Bull will powered by Porsche in 2015...
  13. its means about 9% of Bafana Bafana must be white. the other 9% must be coloured followed by 6% indian, Now remember this calls for equality so sexual orientation must also be catered for...
  14. as long as all persons are given equal opportunity to decide what it is they want to be then its fine. Currently equal opportunities remains an ideology and not a practice.
  15. Its pretty hard to create athletes if you don't provide the basics at a primary school level. If schools had the funds we would have more athletes. But as you say, the Chief's big hut is more important than the rondawels of the people building it. Instead, lets just blame the system. The system can only be held accountable if there are sufficient athletes to begin with. Sadlyin SA, if you are interested in a sport, have the means to a coach or coaching, you will get there. thre isno real competition for placements
  16. 1200Bhp in qualifiying trim but then the engine had to be removed and rebuilt. In those days they used qualifying engines and qualifying tyres
  17. Renault and Ferrari support an increase in Fuel flow. The 100L/hr only allows a max rpm of about 11,000 rpm. With unrestricted fuel flow but 110Kg race fuel allowance the engines can deelop bhp to their potential and increase the noise levels. Mercedes are of course not in favour because they have ben working on their project since thr rules were finalised in 2011. renault and Ferrari are behind the game right now simply due to less development time. the other way to increase the noise is to remove the MGU-H from the turbo exhaust. Audi has dropped this unit from their R-18Tdi for Le Mans because they simply do not get a benefit out of it with a diesel engine. the current engine formula is flawed. The original orld Engine concept would have been much better and allowed more engine manufacturers in F1. But F1 teams have a knack of shooting themselves in the foot and then blaming the FIA
  18. http://www.gtbicycles.com/bike-registration/ register the bike and finds out what the waranty says
  19. could it be election time again. I heard rumours
  20. huh? Sport is political. Always was, always will be.
  21. 20 years after the first democratic vote for all South African's and we're still asking the question... I think we can, but they are all on different teams. Can't get them all together?
  22. wrong forum, google says Craigslist, ashley madison or russianbrides are more appropriate for that sort of banter. Goodluck
