  9. ***Hi-jack reinstated*** If only Niner would do something to that fugly triangle on their MTB full sus frames. But still, damn sexy bikes. (Even if some are fugly. The more you look, the hotter they become...) *** Hi-jack killed*** The new Cannondale frames look much better in appearance. Not like some fong kong rip-off Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  10. Wait what? Is that the price of the Niner with the RS1? Nice. This is definitely my n+1 Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  11. Put a lefty on the Niner then you are sorted... ???? But seriously, the Niner RDO XTR is mindblowingly sexy. Now THAT is a ride to wish for Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  12. So you have a hand-me-down that I can borrow permanently? [emoji185] Thanks man Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  13. Not a fan of the lefty. Would be complete (as in not half-a-fork) with an RS1 fork... Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk
  14. Yeah, sort off... [emoji37] This was at around 18000 feet according to the pilot. We had some very wet weather and heavy clouds (lots of turbulence) at take off - only left the clouds behind once past the draak se berg...
  15. I am not that a huge motorhead (more like mechanically challenged...) but lately these cafe racer types are getting a lot of my attention. Very nice
  16. Two weeks ago on my way back from Durban. Taken with a very old iPhone4.
  17. Nice pics! Thanks. One day when I am grown up and fit I want to do an xco race
  18. Great. Thanks. Haven't been up there for a very long time - too scared to venture out alone into the mountain just incase there was nothing anymore. Sal defnitief weer gaan. Ek is in die noorde, soek plek om te ry. Het my eie xco-tipe roete gesny op my plot in de wildt.
  19. We did go low over the singletrack. I guess it is a shock to the system if such a big bus goes over your head. I have never been to NF, for the only reason its proximity to Diepsloot. NF safe?
  20. Nowhere. Different ride of sorts. Have been in and out of Durban twice the last week. My ride has been standing for close to 4 weeks now. Need to redo the tubeless on both wheels, and replace the rear. Went through some nasty thorny patches, now they aren't holding air as they should. But where to get the time? At least I am not grumpy to those around me - I am just plain pissed off and rude...... Bit off-topic, but does anyone know what trails are on the south side of Lanseria? That is, if you come in for a landing from Pretoria's side, there are some marked singletrack. Is it Northern Farms (can't be, NF is further down to Diepsloot)? Of is ek rigting bedonnerd?
  21. No way that it is humanly possible to finish the epic on an SS rigid. This guy has to be some specimen of HTFU
  22. My sentiments too. But I made the mistake of fitting Crossmarks front and rear. Terrible front tyre - skidding all over the place. You just cannot take speed into corners. But a very strong and reliable rear tyre. I will be replacing the front in due time with something with more traction. Good to see the top guys choosing "common" components above the fancy pansy stuff!
  23. Supersport is missing the mark of having a cycling dedicated program. I am NOT interested in the sponsors, and not interested in the towns or whatever. That is if you can get anything on tv. Why not bring rider profiles, behind the scenes footage, actual bike reviews. Thanks Nick for the reviews
  24. This had me in tears laughing
