  1. That’s hilarious mate,all things correct in cycling 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 moi ?
  2. Oh right ,evol. I should read the post fully 😬👍
  3. I have some spacers floating around . What size 32 or 34 ? What colour are fox ones ? Will have a squizz in the morning what I have .
  4. As i said , probably me that’s odd 😎 Assos I wear large but coivita medium. Must say the road ciovita bibs are awesome. The m is tight for first couple rides ,then fits perfectly. Being 6 ft I should probably wear L but found they not tight enough.
  5. The sizing on the ale’ clothes is really small and rather odd I found. Although in all likeliness it’s probably me that’s odd . Smaller than Castelli even.
  6. Yet to be disappointed by any Assos item of clothing I have ever bought . Their winter gloves, jackets & long sleeve under garments are the absolute bollocks. Couldn’t ride in the uk winter without them . The T.rally bib shorts for mountain biking & gravel riding are just absolutely brilliant. Once you have got over the eye watering, vomit inducing price . They are by far the most comfortable and hard wearing bib you can buy. The hip pads actually work , have tested them a few times . Although when on my mtn bike I wear baggies. But did test the material the other day on my gravel bike at about 28kph....bib is perfect and saved my hip again. Anything bicycle related is overpriced, just some more than others . Is Assos worth the coin, for me it is.
  7. Think you have a touch of heatstroke 😬
  8. Groading & mud ! same leg 😔
  9. Have never seen so many cars for one funeral before . I passed them on RWB , so frustrating.
  10. Perfect gravel morning ☕️
  11. Not sure they are. Wendell did say genet is so overgrown it’s not worth trying to revive. Since they had to move the start & finish , that’s been his main concern . So not really sure what blue parts will reopen. But the new blue 32km is gonna be a real test with plenty blue bits in it linked together .
  12. Back in the saddle with a Thaba double.
  13. Latest green route is about 16 km with just shy of 300 m of elevation . Nothing technical at all. Just follow green and then red arrows to finish . Most of blue is overgrown at the moment. Wendell has made (almost finished) a 32 km blue route with 700m of ascent . It includes some tough blue pieces like Francois . Samuel is also included and a few new pieces he said.
  14. Me 3, the adventure of not knowing the route. Sounds brilliant.
  15. I’ll never be one of the cool kids mate, kid yes ,cool not. Yes, I just keep it safe her for and make sure it works perfectly 😁
  16. 2021 Epic evo comp with Slx and roval sl wheels and carbon bar. No pedals but cage & tool. 11.30kg It feels lighter when moving it around the garage. I tested the brain version and didn’t enjoy it ,hoping this bike hits the sweet spot. Feels like a trail bike when sitting on it .
  17. Need to hear stories like that .
  18. I am 51 tmw and often hang my head and feel the same. I worry for my kids and feel doom & gloom when I read crap like that .
  19. This is the exact reason I don’t have any social media accounts. There are to many people like Ian on this earth that boil my blood instantly. It’s just better for my sanity and anger management not to read crap like that. How can you think like that moron and sleep at night.
  20. I have just sold my scott spark WC and bought a epic evo. The Wc is way to xc, race focused for me. When I looked at geometry of the epic evo the 66.5 head angle and longer wheelbase should make the bike a riot to ride. And hopefully a whippet ( in my terms anyway) over distance. I ride a lot at Thaba, a little a Rietvlei and lots of outrides . The epic evo just seemed to fit the bill to exactly what I need, more than what I thought i needed. Time to be honest about what I ride. No more 130/140 bikes or 100mm race snake whippets. Don't think you can go wrong with the evo .
  21. Great ride that 👌
  22. As the saying goes “ only mad dogs & Englishman “ brilliant 👌 Every time I see something like this , I want to do something that will push me way beyond my limit or what i thought was even remotely possible.
  23. Have been following this thread without comment. Well done to all, really planned on giving it a go after @NotSoBigBen told me about it. I a.ways find it easier when I have a target in my mind with a deadline. Its only when you can’t do something that you appreciate it more . Kudos hubland 💪 👊
