  1. O yes and remember we're not talking price fixing here (wholesalers or retailers or who ever) That is illegal in this country Bring on the vaseline
  2. Exactly...it is called FREE ENTERPRISE Capatilism. Economics 101 We're not in a socialistic country. You charge too high..people will shop elsewhere and you'll either drop your price, or go bang
  3. Intern you've made some good points If guys don't like Cyclelab. Go somewhere else. They can charge what they want it is THEIR STORE. So stop crying over 20% higher this and 2.5% discount this. You don't like it, then go somewhere else. As for price fixing, just leave it to the justice system to take it's course
  4. Bio-pace went out of fasion after that (don't know why) but first time I've seen it again was a similar concept on Carlos Sastra's Cervelo in 2008. Sure it was FSA cranks slowtwitch2009-03-05 05:58:19
  5. Biopase was defnitly on 105. My dad rode his cannondale (one of the original ones to land in SA- first big tube bike wow) with 105 and the biopase chainrings until last July when he had the fatal accedent slowtwitch2009-03-05 05:36:34
  6. Ya I agree. Dura Ace did invent the wheel. In fact Dura Ace also invented Shimano. But his cousin 105 is also an old bloke by now. Geez Mampara these were the days when they still built the frames you believe in (vs today's "plastic" frames)
  7. Peugeut Mirage..mmm...now that brings back memories. The red one with, now what was it 105 groupo?, with those downtube shifters with the black plastic caps. o yes and yellow smooth bar tape Next came the Bridgestone. Pink, yellow, white - the same one Willie Engelbrech use to win the Raport Toer with - this was one sweet bike
  8. If you're looking for sallow reim wheels, why not just buy a set of Mavic Ksyrium ES wheels.much cheaper, same performance (approx) and tough - on the hub last week for R4500 (Ithink)
  9. ok so I did not check every forum on the hub before posting, sorry looks like you either love this bike or hate it. maybe I should change the heading to EYE CANDY FOR SOME
  10. I'm not a MTB'er, but apparently dirt dudes start to hyper ventelate when they see things like this I must admit this is really classy Enjoy PS Yes this is the GT Golden Bike Comp bikes
  11. Fix them...ok can someone go throught the process of HOW TO FIX A TUBBIE (I understand this is not really done these days anymore)
  12. The green looks like the green flames of Merida The Blue swirly thingies makes it look like an Calnago. I must admit seeing the Astana paint scheme for real is really stricking (white/ same blue) So if you like the swirly thingies, GO WITH BLUE/ WHITE
  13. IT?S A MIRACLE!!! HEIDI?S GOT FLIES UP HER BUTTOCKS
  14. what frame is there in the backbround that I see....
  15. o yes and Super Sprinter Wayne Phiffer's cockpit is a Ritchy carbon bar with a alu PRO 140mm stem. Not the stiffest combination either but good enough for the big dude
  16. Not sure, ask Levi My setup is a Bonti bar with a FSA carbon 120mm stem (wich is not the stiffest) Maybe stiffer cockpit would've help you catching Francois on Saterday
  17. Sorry Break, you forgot the winner... Bontrager XXX Lite - 170g and trust me - they are plenty stiff - read all the reviews as well. Wack on a Bonti stem and you get bling with it. However having said that don't fool yourself into thinking it's gonna change your sprinting performance to Thor's. It just aint happening
  18. Looking at that BB area - from the pic it looks like pretty sweet welding and the front D is braze on not a clamp on - not sure what the Raleigh should be. RC3000 is clamp on. Joe Low you are either a man with style or just a plain cheap skate, give more clues and picsslowtwitch2009-02-26 09:38:56
  19. No helmet, no ride...didn't anybody tell these Camps Bay locals they can't get lucky without helmets
  20. And durability of your pedals and cleats?
  21. Any other comments or experience from others...
  22. Here's a close up of the team's TT bikes... so what do you know, Vroomen.White.Design Cervelo
  23. Geez, I didn't realise they such big teams back then. What's that, 30 to 40 rider in one team, and they're all in the breakaway
  24. Feedback on the coke-bb-soluton: DID NOT work on my Alu frame and post PS tried Q20 as well without success..hacksaw here I come
  25. I'm considering buying speedplay zero's (currently on Dura Ace 7750's) What are the pro's and con's Do they last (I hate changing body covers(wear plate) on DA's all the time) or do they also wear out Is the platform stability really an issue. Pro's don't seem to use them unless you're CSC and sposored by speedplay Cleat system doesn't seem as robust as shimano/ Look cleats i.e. dirt getting in there, and much more expensive (do they last longer?) Weight is approx same as other high end pedals if you incl cleats They look cool and add bling to your bike Please give me your thoughts and experience with SPEEDPLAY
