  3. SO we've discussed at length the correct method of measuring chain wear to ensure more happy miles than what a commercial chain measuring tool allow us. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> The next step is to ensure cassettes and chainrings are still in good nick so as not to chow up our chains. Besides using the blue Park tool chain measuring tool's rounded end, what is the other way of checking wear of cassettes and blades?
  4. Where can I find an old school Campag "aero" 27.2x 200 seatpost at a reasonable price (or maybe one of one guys got one lying around not being used). ebay is m@#r expensive

  18. SHIMANO!!! (but I have a soft spot for LOOK) Investigated Speedplay, but couldn't find a good enough reason to change
  19. I have two Shimano Biopace groupsets - one in not so good condition which I'm willing to let go if someone is keen (the one is going back on my '87 Cannondale Crit)
  20. I doubt that bike was so light. Look at the frame weights: it's not lighter than the Giants, cervelo's ect, and with training wheels and 105????? Sorry I don't believe the 7.6kg's for a complete setup with pedals and all.
  21. Some more useless trivia. The Italian carbon company' date=' ATR, that supplies most Italian bike and car companies(including F1) with their raw materials has gone under. Looks like all tubing will be sourced from China in the near future. I think Time is the only company that actually weaves their own carbon tubes. [/quote'] As far as I know from various articles, LOOK and GIANT is the only 2 manufacturers who weaves their own carbon
  22. onetime, this was a bold move by you, well done!
